Bought this for my mom to help with her shoulder pain when she carries grocery bags. She carries them in a canvas bag on her shoulder and the straps were digging into her and causing neck and shoulder pain from constantly carrying weight on one shoulder. The pad instantly help alleviate the pain while also not being too hot (because of it's design) and offering *actual* padding, unlike those cheap neoprene pads. I use this for my body armor aka plate carrier and I add it the pads that are already on it which rig it with velco to make a great padding. It definitely plumb up the pad and the way it sat on my shoulders. The bubble are a little werid and get a little werid feeling after 5 hours but not as bad as it was without them. I had 85 percent discomfort before and not I'm at a 10 percent this was definitely worth it

This product is meant for shoulder straps but I had a different use case for this. I bought it specifically for backpack laptop insert padding as my Adidas backpack had very little padding which kept wearing the edges of my laptop screen thus needing a warranty replacement. It's been working pretty well for my use case and I'd recommend it.

After a week or two it started to squeak every step I take. It's still adds more comfort than just having a stock strap but if small constant squeaks annoy you then avoid this one.

My granddaughter’s original strap on her book bag ripped I bought this as a replacement. It is soft and durable and took her pain away from her shoulder from carrying her heavy full binder with a laptop in it.
