My review is based only on assembly as of right now. I will edit once installed. There aren't a thousand pieces to assemble which is nice. The instructions are easy to understand for the stand itself which is also nice. The tie down straps are confusing and not very clear on the instructions but easy enough to figure out. The padded pieces for the back rail and shooting rail fit loose and don't seem to be capable of adding comfort by design. A pool noodle will probably work for that. For the price, I won't complain but wanted to point that out to be as fair as possible. I read in previous reviews, there were a lot of complaints on the holes not lining up. The manufacturer must have addressed this issue because everything lined up nicely on mine. The frame seems well made and the powder coat is nicely done. The seat cover is a little thin, it's still comfortable but secures easily to the seat frame with convenient buckle/straps. You can pad that up if you wanted to, I will simply put a couple of towels between the seat cushion and seat frame, easy fix. I feel very comfortable that this stand will be safe and will easily secure to a tree. The straps for the rest of the stand will be easy to install. Overall, I'm happy with the stand so far. It went together very well and I'm confident I will get many safe years of use out of it. The manufacturer included 2 safety harnesses which was extremely nice and well thought out. The stand is not terribly heavy. My son and I will take it to my hunting area in 2 sections. The main seating area which we already assembled and then the ladder. This also makes it easy to transport in a truck and it prevents full assembly in the field. This way, all we have to do is install 2 bolts, the pins and straps.....ready to attach to a tree. Also, it arrived early.

PROS: 1) This was the easiest stand I've ever assembled as far as the instructions are concerned. 2) I feel safe in it. 3) I was able to stand this up by myself but barely. I'm in pretty good shape but I don't recommend trying this by yourself. CONS: 1)As mentioned elsewhere my stand had some holes that didn't line up. I drilled my own. I thought this might have a domino effect on the rest of the assembly but everything else went together smooth. It was a slight inconvenience but I'm not going to disparage the company badly on that. 2) If the single bar backrest looks uncomfortable in the picture that's because it is. I have a cheap seat cushion at the house that I'll place there. A pool noodle or a ratty small pillow you're not using would help. 3). It sure seems the gun rest bar could've been extended out more. At least 6". The main reason I chose this one was because of weight and height. I figured if 18' was too tall I could take out 1 rung of ladder steps and still be about 14 feet in the air. And that's exactly what I did. I'd buy this again but if you have another person to help out I would definitely pony up the extra dough to upgrade to the other 2 man stand.

Great stand for the money with 500lbs capacity. Assembly was easy and my son and I were able to install even though 3 people are recommended. I ordered 3 more of these after I put the first one up because I was pleased overall. The only down side I would say is shooting rail could be a little higher. I’m 6’2” and my son is 6’4” so that may not be an issue for others. I also bought a separate strap because I installed it on a larger tree and strap that came with it was a little short but very solid when secured down.

Assembly was relatively easy. Managed to get it up myself using tree steps on the back side of the tree and gradually pulling it up. Obviously would’ve been much easier to have a second pair of hands. Hunted out of it all fall. It’s plenty sturdy. The bench cover isn’t the comfiest but not a big problem. It’d be a tight fit for two adults to sit in together, but plenty spacious for one. Overall, I’m very pleased with the purchase.

This thing is like a tree couch... plenty of room to stand up or sit down. Don’t know if it’s big enough for two grown men, for any length of time. Ladder could be a little wider, but once you’re up there it’s like being in the lap of luxury.

The only negative I have is that I is a little uncomfortable. Plan on adding a little extra padding and those long sits will be much more enjoyable.
