This is a very nice cabinet for the price. It looks more expensive than it is. It was easy to assemble and holds the number of shoes noted in the description. It is sturdy if used for what it is intended for. Highly recommend if you are looking for a shoe cabinet.

I bought this shoe cabinet because this was the only one on amazon I could find that had the style I was looking for. It was a kind of a gamble whether it would be a good quality piece seeing as how there were only 4 ratings and 1 bad review. It came quicker than amazon said it would which was great. It also came really protected and none of my parts were damaged or broken. During assembly, some of the assembly instructions were a little confusing. A couple of things to note if you are also assembling this is to make sure the shelves are facing the right way when you first put it in. My boyfriend put the shelves in according to the instructions but when we turned the piece right side up we realized the raw edge that is not covered by the veneer would be facing out towards the cabinet doors. So then we had to take it all apart to fix it. Another tip is the door hinges come apart, a piece that attaches to the cabinet frame and another to the cabinet door. It would be easier to attach them separately to their respective places and then putting the hinge back together rather than doing what the instructions say. We also accidentally used the "I" screws to screw the backboards on instead of the "L" screws but we fixed that by just getting some short nails and nailing the backboard in. Lastly, I found that putting the backboard in last once everything else was assembled was far better for the structure of the cabinet. If you put the backboard first the cabinet doors may not be installed straight. Which would result in "skewed cabinet doors". Overall, It was worth going through the assembly for this cabinet. I have it set up right next to the front door right now with some trays on top to double as an entrance cabinet. ... show more

Would’ve been nice but we learned that you can’t put the shelves in if the doors are on and as you can see in the pictures, the doors are off and one side has a very visible gap only on one side. We took it apart 3 times to try and fix the issue to no avail and now we are stuck with this poorly made cabinet. And last but not least- there were parts missing and thankfully my husband has a nice collection of tools and parts and we were able to find matching parts to finish putting it together. I wish I could send this back without taking it apart. Will not purchase this again. ... show more
