    • Good bargain
Over all .. not bad . I'm a XL man 180 lb .. the seat is small for sitting any long periods of time. The padded set is lame. I only raised the chair about 6 feet .. I could go higher .. but I wanted to make sure it was sturdy . It was.

    • Pretty good stand for the price
It’s not a $300 lock on, but for $80 it’s hard to beat. I bought 2. Platform is nice and wide. Weighs 17 lbs, so not too heavy, but not light by any means. Seat pad is just ok. Going to have to replace that for long sits. I deducted one star because the space was too wide on the upright bars for the threads on the bolts to even show when mounting the seat. I had to start the bolt on one side, then use a C clamp to compress the other side to start the nut on the bolt. I did not have to do that for the other stand. Plastic washers are cheap so I’ll probably end up replacing with Teflon washers. Wire mesh on the platform is a little heavier than some other super cheap stands. ... show more

    • No cam lock, tiny lock nuts, do not buy
I expected better design. The tiny lock washers on the seat. Somehow came loose 25’ off the ground while I was hanging it the first time. Yes I tightened with a wrench. But I was surprised when it had no cam locking action on a big, straight oak tree. $100 stands are better.

    • Does not secure easily and/or securely to tree with provided straps.
The stand is large and rugged enough but I am VERY disappointed in the strapping mechanism...it is very difficult to strap to the tree and the first time I put my weight (195lbs) it loosened and I would have fallen had I not had my safety harness on - very dangerous. I bought and attached two ratchet straps, problem solved. ... show more

Great for a zipline platform, which is what we bought it for.
