Lamp is absolutely beautiful! It really does look like a tiffany lamp. The base isnt metal as previous responses to questions state. The product description is accurate, it is a resin but it is heavy. The shade itself is not glass as stated however. It is some type of plastic/ resin. A beautiful lamp! The shade is of real glass, thin glass, but real. Base looks exactly like metal the way it is expertly painted, but the base is actually a resin substance. Would not want to drop... Very sturdy pull chains (2). Packaged within an inch of its life - so no worries there, except of course if you happen to have a maniacal delivery person! lol Overall nice lamp that I do recommend, as long as you are aware that the base is not metal. Not worth the money in my opinion. My heart sank when I picked up the box; I was far too light for a glass shade that size and a metal base. The shade is acrylic or plastic and was peeling in some areas where you could see the copper wiring below the faux solder. The branches of the stand is also chipping and missing color and is chipped white (see photos) When the shade is attached it is still very loose/wiggly and flexes quite a bit. The lamp came packaged well but I would say this is false advertising and misleading - especially given the price. ... show more

Hi. First it came 2 days early. It was packed so well nothing could break it. It really looks great. My wife liked it so much we ordered the sister lamp that has the 2 birds sitting on the stand branch. I wanted the 3 light one but my wife said let’s keep this one and order the other too, so I did!
