The River Dream no hook shower curtain is one of my favorite type of curtains. I use them in all our showers that require curtains and I have them for my tenants in my rental units as well. I also used them in my parents' handicapped bathrooms because they are the safest type for fall risk individuals. I'll explain. Fall risk individuals don't always reach for the grab bars. I learned this while being my 93 yo parents' caregiver over seven years. They grab anything. Shower doors often become the hazard that causes severe injuries. Regular shower curtains hanging on rods when grabbed can cause not just the curtain and curtain holders to come loose but with such force as the individual is pulling it can also cause the rod above to fall adding injury to the head or body of the person falling. I had padding everything in the bathroom ready for my father's falls. Rounded corners, collapsible garbage cans, child reinforcement bumpers on edges, but until I installed rods built into the walls with blocking and this type of curtain, there was always the additional hazard of the wall or the doors on the walk-in shower. First, this curtain is the easiest to install. No hooks needed. This curtain is itself the hooks that go onto the rod. Once it is up it need only be taken down every few months as needed to wash. Because the liner just separates via snaps to be washed as frequently as desired. With the second included liner ready to be clipped in while the dirty one is washed, there is never a time when the shower can't be used because there is no shower curtain or liner. Other curtains like this only come with one liner and I had to buy extras. The River Dream includes two knowing it is necessary to trade one in when taking one off to wash. Brilliant and thoughtful. The thickness of both the curtain and the lining is very nice. This is not a flimsy curtain or cloth liner. They are both very well made and significant weight. Attractive with the waffle weave and numerous color options to choose from. The curtain slides nicely on a standard rod and the mesh at the top allows light to flow into the shower stall for brightness. Showers never have enough light when the curtain is closed but these shower curtains allow light access. I notice that these easy to install and change liner curtains are now being used in the IGH hotels. At $42.99 these are at the higher end of the scale from other similar type snap liner shower curtains. I again reiterate that the weight of both the liner and curtain and the color options are very nice. For my parents this brand was not around and the ones I used on their house and in the rental was also very good and in this price range as well. However, there are less expensive ones. I have not seen nor felt their construction to compare them against River Dream. Durability, design, fit are all important and this curtain has all of those features.

I've replaced shower curtains more times than I'd like to admit, but this one has me convinced I've found my forever curtain. The waffle weave texture looks genuinely elevated — multiple guests have commented that my bathroom feels "fancy" now, which is not something I expected a shower curtain to accomplish. The no-hooks system was the selling point for me and it absolutely delivers. The snap-in liner takes about two minutes to attach and makes the whole setup feel intentional rather than thrown together. Having the extra replacement liner included is a thoughtful touch — when the liner eventually needs swapping, I don't have to hunt for a compatible one. The 71x74 size gives great coverage with a little extra length, which I appreciate. The green is a soft, sophisticated shade — not too bold, blends beautifully with neutral bathroom colors. The hotel-grade description is accurate; it hangs with real weight and drape, not that flimsy plastic-bag feeling cheaper curtains have. Wash and dry easily, came out looking pristine. No mildew smell straight out of the package either, which has been an issue with other curtains I've ordered online. If I'm being picky: setup instructions could be clearer for the snap-in liner the first time. Took a little trial and error. But once it's in, it's in. Worth every penny for the look and the quality. Buying a second one for the guest bath.
