Why did you pick this product vs others?: Great value, excellent weight and knurls. My olympic CAP weight plates are too big for this bar and cause some slanting when on the ground which is not really a big deal. My Gymenist plates have the same experience to a lesser degree so suspect the bar sizing is a little small. No chipping, high quality. I don't lift heavy so can't speak to heavy loads.
