I have tried several other products and these are my favorite. You place them in between your teeth and your cheek. Which I do at night and they stay in my mouth for a good long time and stay away the dry mouth. Works much better for me than all the other brands I've tried.

    • Helps with nighttime dry mouth
I've been using these for years, so glad I found a lower cost alternative to Xylimelts. I hate that I cannot get through a night (or a nap) without having to put these in but they are truly needed and I'm grateful they exist! I'm not sure what happened to my mouth but it became so dry, rather suddenly (I had very high insulin resistance that I think may have contributed to dry mouth). My only problem with these is that they melt within 1-3 hours (fastest if I delay sleep because I tend to automatically suck on them while awake), but if I'm already asleep, they seem to produce enough saliva to keep me from waking up feeling like I'm stranded in the desert. Sometimes too much, and wake up drooling lol. Sleep issues are my life, I use CPAP on my nose, and I'm a mouth breather so I also have to tape my mouth shut every night 😴 I put two melts in, the tan side adheres to the outside of my upper gums on each side. If I'm just going in for a nap, I attach one on the roof of my mouth in the center. If I'm feeling adventurous and expect only a short nap thinking I can skip it (or if I fall asleep unintentionally), I wake up with a sore throat, cotton mouth, and regret! ... show more

    • Not as long lasting as Xylimelts
I ordered these because they were cheaper than Xylimelts, and money is tight, so I thought I’d try it. Well, they’re definitely not as good as Xylimelts…. I can typically use 1-2 per night with Xylimelts, but with these I was going thru 4-6 per night. The guar gum adhesive layer wasn’t as “sticky” as the brand name, so they fell off and had to be replaced frequently, and they also dissolved VERY quickly. If I use two name brand ones per night (I usually replace when I wake up to drink or use the bathroom and I notice it has melted away) I usually have some left in the morning when I get up to chew up. With these there was never any left by morning, and I woke during the night a lot more frequently, super thirsty, because my mouth was so dry. Hence the having to replace them so many more times per night. I never did the math on how many I used per night vs how much name brand cost, but I would imagine it’s better to pay a little more and use far fewer.     • These are bulky, don't adhere very well, chalky, and did not help with dry mouth.
I tried them for 4 nights and had a hard time trying to ignore the bulky piece of chalk attempting to stick to something in my mouth. If it's the mint that is supposed to make my mouth water, I didn't taste it. There was SOME minty flavor, but not enough to do anything. It was just an expensive not so tasty candy. ... show more

I started out using the expensive name brand, then found these. They work just as well for so much less! As with the name brand, it works best to put one each side of your mouth at bedtime. They last as long as the name brand and I much prefer the price.

Although slightly cheaper than the OraCoat brand this one definitely falls short. Does not work as well, flavor not as good & nowhere near as adhesive. I’m always looking for a bargain but this is not it
