This was just what I was looking for. This piece of aluminum is machined perfectly to fit around all 3 lenses, flash and lidar sensor without covering or blocking any of them. The adhesive is very strong, just make sure you clean the glass around the lenses with alcohol before applying. I had to use pliers to remove it from one phone and reattach to another and it has continued to adhere firmly. It sits just high enough to rise above the lenses so any impact on a reasonably flat surface will hit this piece and not the lenses. ... show more

It's great to switch up the look of the camera bump. I have the starlight silver iPhone and wanted to match the look of camera bump with my cases, as well as adding protection. Worked well and looked good. Installation was easy. This thing came off when I dropped my phone, and when I would change cases in-between. Fairly easy to peel the protector off the bump. Update: so I had trouble removing this, meaning the glue was a lot stronger that I thought. Two issues here still though. The cutouts shown in the picture show no gap around the lens. I’m actuality, there is a small gap between the lens and protector. This causes dirt to be able to go in between, and allows the item to move around and become off center. If that small problem was fixed I would buy again in a heart beat. One other observation is that I nicked the protector, which removed paint and showed the gray metal. The nick was caused by setting the phone down on an uneven surface. I love the matte black look and protection this gives to the camera bump. The only issue is that the glue isn’t very strong.     • Fell off in a month (applied properly)
I applied this lens protector with great care. I made sure I was in a dust free environment, and that both surfaces were clean using 90% rubbing alcohol and nitrile gloves. Not installer error, the product needs tweaked to be worth it.
