This Rikon 10 inch bandsaw is amazing. I recently purchased this bandsaw to replace a 30+ year old 10 inch, still-working, but now very dated, Craftsman bandsaw, after many years of reliable use. It takes a little time to assemble the Rikon bandsaw correctly, and get everything adjusted straight and true to the blade. However, once everything is setup the bandsaw cuts very well. The toolless guide-bearing adjustments make setting up the blade very easy. The tracking and tension adjustments also work very well to keep the blade cutting straight, or curved, when necessary. The bandsaw comes with a nice adjustable rip fence, and I also purchased the Rikon miter sled (not included) with the bandsaw. The bandsaw has onboard storage for the assembly/adjusting tools and the rip fence. This Rikon bandsaw is very quiet while running and cutting. It is also large and very heavy (over 80 pounds) compared to other bandsaws in the 9 and 10 inch cut class. I mounted the Rikon bandsaw on a portable rolling stand, which really helps with moving the heavy bandsaw around the shop. If you are looking for a good 10 inch, high-quality hobby bandsaw, but don't need a big 14+ inch cut monster bandsaw, then look no further. This is a heavy duty, high quality bandsaw, and not some cheap "toy" like many other brand bandsaws in this 9/10 inch cut class seem to be. The Rikon bandsaw is also a little more expensive than the others, but it is so worth the price for a real bandsaw. I highly recommend this Rikon 10 inch bandsaw.

Very impressive build quality at any price but a super value. Highly recommended. Minimal setup time. Nice feature set. Mitre slot is smaller than typical and didn’t come with mitre jig, but that’s the only negative. Would buy it again in a heartbeat. Even resaw of a small log worked great after adjusting the fence to fit the blade tracking. The fence accommodates slight angle adjustments. :) Great product!

This is a good mini bandsaw. Blade adjustment/ replacement is relatively easy. Cuts like a dream and fits in a relatively small space. The trunnion and wheels are aluminum not cast iron. Tslot is non-standard size. Table was also just too small for my use-case and I needed something that would cut just a hair higher than 5". Unfortunately or fortunately depending on your perspective, there's no 12" Rikon so if you need something bigger, the next size up Bandsaw (14") is a true monster standing over 6ft and weighing 300lbs... I went with that one.

I put off a bandsaw for quite some time. I have enough other tools and while a band saw would be handy, I can do the same thing 10 other ways. That said. I’m happy I finally got one as it’s been an amazing tool and opened new doors and possibilities. This saw has had zero issues cutting through hardwoods in both small curvy cuts and rip cuts. It’s very easy to set up and it’s made simply small cuts safe and easy. Although it may take an extra second to cut through vs my Cabinet saw. This is a pleasant simple machine that I come back to whenever possible. This is also small enough that I leave it on the end of my assembly table. In the future if I need to rip large pieces, sure I can upgrade. But so far this has done everything if needed and taking up a tiny space. The cast iron top has also been wonderful as I pop a Magswitch feather board on and cut without worrying about drift.

I don’t need a band saw for large projects, have a crowded shop or re saw a bunch of wood. Looked at the larger Rikon saws and just could not justify the purchase based on my limited use. This saw arrived with no damage (box was trashed - don’t know why any company uses UPS) and had the saw set up in half an hour. Adjustments are quick with all the required tools for assembly and adjustment included. Tool storage is a nice touch as is the blade tension lever for a saw in this price range. The table is accurate and flat, blade runs true and is very quiet in operation. Found the included blade to be pretty good, I did buy an assortment of Timberwolf blades to have on hand when needed. I wish the miter gauge was included, bought the miter gauge separately adding a bit more capability to a very capable saw. I am very happy to have this saw in my shop and look forward to years of use, I am sure that I will run into a situation that I wish I had a larger bandsaw but based on my limited shop space I think I made the perfect decision to go with this saw.

Did a bunch of research on benchtop bandsaws, settled on this one. Not dissapointed at all. Cuts great, threw on a 1/2 inch 4TPI from olson and its perfect for resaws at full height (just over 5 inches), and has cut walnut, pine, and maple with no problems. Still have to finish the surfaces after, but awesome. The fence is really hard to get to work correctly though, and I am looking into a magfence for resawing, would be easier to set up than the crappy fence that they ship with the saw. No regrets though. Edit: half year review: I replaced the crappy fence with a magswitch fence, and its perfect. Had a few bearings stop working, had to replace them half way through. I also switched the motor speed from high speed to low speed, and the extra torque helps a lot with dense hardwood. Still love the saw, wish I had sprung for one with a bit more capacity in terms of max height.

So you really do get what you pay for. I am so used to Harbor Freight crap that I didn't know what a great pro tool was like. The bandsaw is simple beautiful. I am mean it looks awesome. Its machined and balanced perfectly. The fence is dead on. Plenty of power to re-saw a 4" board ( can go up to 5" ). Do yourself the favor and really understand the adjustment manual. It is NOT perfect from the factory, as is any saw. Dial it in and it makes flawless cuts. I've not done any bevels so can't comment on that. Blade change is fine. reviews about having to take the 1 bolt out are ridiculous. I ALMOST didn't buy because of the reviews. So glad I didn't listen. Blade change is easy! BUY IT
