Bought this to go with the Rikon 10-inch band saw. After reading the reviews on this I was actually reluctant to order as there seemed to be so much wrong with it. The pictures showed the numbers upside down and there were numerous issues with fit and function. But, after numerous searches for other options (of which there were really none) I had to come back to this one. The miter I received was excellent. Out of the box it assembles easily, fits the saw table track perfectly, and slides easily with no wiggle. The body and face are a single piece of cast aluminum and it's well made. The face is a perfect 90 degrees both to the table and the saw blade. The numbers on the back side are right-side up like they should be (maybe a design change?); a small pointer sets the angle and can be adjusted if out of alignment. The handle, which needs to be loosened and tightened when setting cut angles, is a little too close to the face for my medium-sized hands, but it's workable. The face is 1-3/4 inches high by 5-1/5 inches long; there are two holes in the face that allows attachment of a sacrificial/support board (I went with 2 x 15 inches). On the one hand, it's too bad Rikon went with the 5/8-inch slot here, but they at least did a good job on this miter. Took 1/2-point off on the review because this miter is definitely too expensive; almost like Rikon knows they're pretty much the only option here unless you make your own (which I almost did). ... show more

    • The miter gauge that should have come with the bandsaw
First, I’m not a high rather. To get 5-stars, do something exceptional. 4-stars means good product. The miter gauge is as described. It fit my 10-3061 bandsaw. It’s not an exceptionally well built device, but it works as described. For about $40, it is what it is. I do think Rikon could have included it with the original bandsaw and not made it an “accessory “. Good product, no issues. ... show more

Fits rikon 10-3061 very well. Not perfect but very useable for my needs. Miter gauge I received is better than the description. I had to adjust the angles slightly.

    • Good Rikon quality in a 'must have' accessory
Genuine Rikon miter gauge. It works well, and, in my opinion. a 'must have' accessory for your band saw. The adjustment locks well, and there is an acceptable amount of play in the gauge to table; it tracks well and doesn't bind. I like the roller which locks the gauge into the T slot so it can't lift out of the slot inadvertently. ... show more

    • Imprecise - a sloppy accessory to a good tool
The gauge slide does not fit the table slot at all well - the gauge is really unsuitable to use on an otherwise precise and nicely made saw. In order to use this gauge you must create precise shims and fuss around a bit - not really useful out of the box. The slot is non-standard, so good luck finding an alternative. I sent the slot and gauge measurements to Rikon USA and never had any reply. Very surprising from a vendor of good tools, whose customer service has been fine before this. ... show more

Does not look like the photo in the product listing. I use this with my Rikon 10-306. There is a small amount of slop/play in the slot but not bad: I can fit a .011" feeler guage into the gap but not .012". Not as bad as some of the other reviews say. The knob to adjust angle is insanely tall -I plan to cut it down to about 1/4 height so it's not in the way all the time. The threaded part of the knob does not extend below the miter as others have shown -it looks like that part has been redesigned/fixed. Ok value for the money. Frustrating that the product listing image is so inaccurate because I delayed buying for that reason. ... show more
