I needed more space for baby clothes to keep the next size up things handy. It's super lightweight, probably bc the whole thing feels like it's going to tear/collapse at any given moment. I wouldn't use it as shelves for displaying, maybe some books would sit ok on it. I bought canvas cubes to use with it but I don't use it daily so I'm not moving the cubes in and out, or else I'm pretty sure it wouldn't last very long. ... show more

This book case is great for holding numerous heavy books, but the books should be stacked in various ways to make them all fit. The issue is when you're constructing it, don't be too rough. Great shelf. I use it for my games and books and it hold them just fine. I wouldn't use the hammer it came with, i would use a rubber mallet or the palm of your hand for assembly. This was an easy to assemble product but not what I was looking for. I was going to use this for booked, but I didn't realize it would use fabric over poles as a shelf. When I tried placing my books on they seemed uneven and there were gaps in the back where the fabrics did not meet.
