These boots are nice, warm and light on the feet. It is good for a walk outside in the winter. I originally purchased it to use as winter boots and though the bottom is waterproof, I’m not sure about the felt side of the shoes. At first, I was thinking I needed a 7.5 on these to test. I needed some new shoes that were waterproof for rainy days. And sure enough, I requested them. I went for a size 8 on these instead and they fit like a true Women's 8. They are comfortable for long term use. Cute boots. They are tougher than running shoes, but I wouldn’t do full-fledged barn or outdoor work on them. They are simply great looking and comfortable for that rural-casual look. Today I’m wearing them with jeans and a sweater. They are incredibly comfortable…more so than a work boot. They have a cushioned insole and a thick outsole that offer some height. The lower layer would be fine in wet weather but I don’t trust that the gray flannel feeling uppers would be water proof. But since I’m not really wearing them to be ultra-rugged, I’m ok with the durability. I feel like they would be great paired with jeans, leggings, sweats or joggers and tops such as sweaters, flannel shirts or T’s. ... show more

I wanted something I could wear in the winter going off or walking in my yard. These boots are exactly what I wanted. They are very comfortable, I have a favorite type of insole that I put in all my shoes and since these do not have much of an arch, they needed them added. The uppers really do look like real suede. They fit snuggly and feel like they are hugging your feet. There is a spring in my step as the soles are flexible. And they add a little to my height (yay!) Easy to put on and take off. Says they are waterproof...we shall see. I like the tug loop on the back. And a plus for me is that they don't eat my socks. I wear and eight with thin socks, so they fit well. I love the style of these boots. They are reminiscent of LL you know who duck boots but have a more modern look to them. Soles are way more comfortable and you can't beat that they're water proof. These shoes are great for wintertime weather, they are durable, they fit nicely, the insole is so nice, the make is amazing, everything about it works so nicely that it is stunning, they are stunning shoes. They are sized to fit, meaning that they are the correct size so whatever size you actually wear these should do well, and I have already put them through some serious terrian and these shoes took them like champs. I got these boots to use while working in animal enclosures in the winter. The soles have a pattern that prevents them from picking up gravel, which is what I need. They are not heavy, which helps when you're on your feet for hours. So far, my feet have stayed warm. I have very wide feet and a high arch & instep, and I wanted to wear thick socks, so I ordered a half-size up and they fit fine.
