So, first of all, I like this mattress, but only because I was looking for something very specific. I'm heavy-set and I wanted something thick and with good support so that I wouldn't get the dreaded divot. All the reviews say this mattress is 'comfortable' and 'medium firm', but JFC, this was the hardest mattress I have ever attempted to sleep on in my life. I 'slept' one night on it and immediately went to Amazon to buy a 3" egg-crate style topper, because bare? I felt like I was sleeping on the floor. The pros of this mattress are as follows: *Good support (this is an understatement. If this thing develops a divot, then I have a pair of bowling balls for an ass). *After a few days it did inflate to the full 14". I will have to buy a deeper pocketed fitted sheet for it, because it's tall, and with the topper, a regular one just won't do. *It's made well, and while others have said that the coils don't seem to be individually wrapped, I also haven't noticed a bunch of movement transfer when I get in and out or move around. *I feel like it will hold up well under a bit of extra weight. The Cons: *This b*tch is firm AF. My first night on it was serious, and I barely slept. Now that I have a topper for it, it's perfect, but it definitely needs that extra 3" of something soft on top. So, if you're like me and you're looking for something that will not cave under the pressure of your backside, then get this. I'd definitely buy it again, but I'd also make sure I ordered a topper, too. ... show more

SMACK WARNING! It will arrive inside a plastic bag that’s inside a box. You can remove the box easy without incident. The smack warning they give for when cutting off the plastic bag is no joke though. I made sure my pets were outside and was careful to stand at the end of the roll, NOT ALONG THE LONG EDGE! I placed the unopened mattress on top of the box spring thinking it’d be nice to have it in the general vicinity of where it belongs once opened. Carefully using the opening tool they give I started tearing into the clear bag the mattress is compressed in. I stabbed into the mattress a few times and made holes 😳 My bad. When I got near the end of cutting open the bag, the force of pressure from the mattress having been so compressed tore the bag on open with incredible force. It flopped a good five feet forward and six feet up. It smacked my ceiling fan and I was very lucky it didn’t break my light. If someone was standing in front of it instead of beside it like I did they could seriously get hurt. Also, be sure to open it on the ground so it doesn’t haven’t a chance to smack light fixtures. ... show more

Brought this mattress for my daughter, for a bunk bed. She has the bottom bunk. The mattress prior was nearly touching the ground, so this mattress here she is high up and sees her television better.
