After reading other reviews I decided to go up a 1/2 size. I figured if they are too big I’ll just wear thick socks. Well I’m very happy I went up a size because they fit great. My usual size 7.5 would have been too tight. I have a high instep and it was no problem getting them on or off. Walking to the venue and standing at the concert they didn’t hurt my feet at all. These cowboy boots are cute, comfortable, and fit true to size. They were easy to wear right out of the box and felt great on my feet. My only disappointment was the trim around the sole. Some of the listing photos make it appear black or a dark tan, but in person it’s actually a very light tan that creates a much stronger contrast against the black boot. I bought these because I read someone’s review that they were super comfortable right off the bat. So true. When I first tried these on, they felt great on my feet. Perfect amount of flexibility to make it comfy. I also read that there was no break in period for these. I put that to the test buying these for a concert that I attended and having to walk a few blocks from parking to the venue. Absolutely comfortable. Love these boots as they were so comfortable to wear even on the first time! Stood on them for almost a 2-hour concert easily and the price was perfect for someone like me who doesn’t wear boots all the time. Got them the day after I ordered them and they completed my outfit perfectly!

I purchased these boots for a Megan Moroney concert, and while they are just so so adorable they weren't the most comfortable. My feet started hurting after about 2 or 3 hours of standing, walking, and going up stairs. I am normally a size 9 in womens, but I ordered a 9.5 to give me a bit of extra space and it was a perfect fit for me. I have also seen other reviews that mention going up half a size for the purpose of adding in shoe inserts, so that could be useful as well!
