I purchased this as a prep sink for our upcoming kitchen remodel. We’re still a couple of months away for the installation so this review is mainly about the how it was packaged/shipped and initial impressions. I will update this review again after the installation and use. With that said, here’s my impressions... The sink was very well packaged and arrived quickly compliments of Amazon Prime. I have purchased sinks in the past thru Amazon where it was damaged during shipping (corners bent) which I had to go thru the hassle to exchange. Not the case this time around for this sink. Once I unboxed it, I could tell that this was a well-made quality sink. It is think gauge (thicker than the name brands costing 4x more) and the cutting board/cover was quite hefty and sturdy. The sound proofing on the underside was sprayed thick and there were additional sound dampening pads on the sides and bottom. I think this will be a very quiet sink with the water running. I also liked that it came with a grate to prevent scratches from pots and pans- all extras if you purchased a name brand such a Franke. Again, I have not installed it so can’t comment about how rust-proof it is but the initial impressions is that this was a solid purchase.

When remodeling our kitchen, we settled on a more industrial, clean look so we were looking for a square single sink. However, we also have a smaller kitchen that we have had in the past and needed more workspace. This sink fills all the those needs and also comes with other convenient accessories. It is a heavy gauge aluminum, has an industrial , sleek look and comes with a cutting board that fits on the rails as well as a slotted colander board that also fits the railing for draining as well as a removable grid that covers the bottom, keeping dishes and utensils placed in the sink away from the debris and food particles you rinse off of them. The only downside would be the rails that are welded in place to hold the cutting board and colander, but those are much heavier sturdier than they looked in the picture and the sink comes with a brush to clean them if needed. So, far this is the best sink we have had and we are loving a single bowl as we found our dual compartment sinks always had one side used almost exclusively anyway.

Help! The inserted wooden cutting board is getting moldy! The sink is showing signs of rust unless I completely keep it sanitized and dry (this is not always a possibility.) Should not be having these problems less than a month installed.

This is a beautiful sink and very easy to install. Even though it is meant to be under mounted, the edge is finished nicely so we installed it as a drop-in with a laminate countertop. I highly recommend this sink.

This sink is fantastic! The rail that holds the strainer and cutting board is great because it allows water to flow thru it. My prior sink had a molded edge for these items and crumbs and water would get stuck there. The other thing that is much better is the drainage. Water drains from the entire sink. Seems like this should be a given but my prior sink didn't drain correctly. We debated bringing the front edge up (making it unlevel) so that the water would drain. This sink works as it should which is something that cannot be said about every sink.

Purchased this sink for a kitchen remodel and overall, I am very happy with it after using it for the past month. It is very handy to have the colander and cutting board at the sink and I’m using them more frequently than I expected. I also like the grid that goes across the bottom of the sink; it give me a place to leave the sponge to dry. The one thing I noticed is the cutting board doesn’t slide very easily; there aren’t rollers really and you have to exert quite a bit of force to move it. Otherwise, I’m very satisfied with this sink and find it to be a great value.

Nice looking. Sliding tray is nice for separating food, dishes, etc. Great for wet items like sponges, cloths, brushes, etc. Plenty of room to work in. A little deep, but learning to work with it. Over all we both love it.

This sink is huge! Yuge! Mounted nicely. The included accessories is a nice bonus, but ultimately we bought it because we wanted a black sink to go with our kitchen remodel and wow, it really looks great and is so functional for us. We love it. Strongly Recommended 5 stars
