My new minivan has the USB port for Android Auto down in the cargo bin. The way the port is angled, the USB cable sticks out over the junk down in the cargo bin and really gets in the way. Also, with the cable sticking out of the bottom of the phone, it was difficult to find a place to set the phone down. The right angles on this cable fit the bill perfectly, and the short length is very convenient for keeping it out of the way. I just got this, so we'll have to see how well it lasts.     • So far, so good . . . Android Auto/Waze Use

Bought these for the same reason as a lot of others, to use in the car. I wish the USB plug were oriented the other way, so that the cable came out the other side; it would make the cable run directly from the jack to the slot where my phone rests. Worked great with Android Auto and Waze, until it didn't. AA would connect, Waze would set up, then it would just freeze. Unplugging and re-plugging would re-set, but then the same thing happened again. Then, I noticed that a message flashed up on the car's screen when I plugged it in (and disappeared very quickly) saying that battery savers may interfere with operation. There are also some comments online about this. I checked, and yes, both AA and Waze were updated between the time it worked and when it stopped working. So, I turned off the battery saving functions for AA and Waze, and everything works just fine. ... show more

Good product. Fits tight, braided cord looks good and should last a long time. Customer service is good, too. They initially sent only one of the two cables that I had ordered, but they quickly made it right. I would recommend this to a friend.

    • Stopped fast charging for me

Great cable. Seems like it will last a long while but after a few weeks it stopped fast charging in my car. Now I have to play around with it to get it to fast charge, but it pretty much doesn't work anymore. My S8 Plus now only says "slow charging" when I connect this cable. I gave it three stars for it's design and quality of material. UPDATE: Due to the excellent customer service, I am updating to 5 stars. The seller reached out to me and sent me replacement cords.     • Solid connection and space saving
We love these cables so far. Our car has a spot for cell phones, but it isn't wide enough to fit the phone with a regular cable plugged in without turning the phone out and risking pushing the shifter into the cable and shattering it (that has happened on multiple occasions and we have destroyed several cables this way). This has been the case even with other right angle cables. These have been made to be very compact and for once, we can put our phones fully in that spot and our problem is solved! They also have a tight and reliable connection and work well with Android Auto. I can't speak about the durability as we haven't had them for very long, but I will be sure to update my review if that becomes an issue. ... show more

I bought this short 1ft cable to power my laptop cooling pad from my laptop without having a long cable to deal with. This would have been perfect except this cable, for whatever reason, will not power my cooling pad! I can connect any other cable and it works just fine but this cable does not want to power anything! I CANNOT recommend to anyone! I'll be returning it tomorrow as defective! ... show more

Great at first, but within a few weeks the metal cover over the cable came detached and started sliding around. Then in about six months it started cutting in and out when used for Android Auto. This is very common among cables like this which are connected and disconnected regularly, but it is always disappointing when the cable suddenly stops working. Purchased this in November and 2 finally gave out in July. Mostly used the 6ft for nightly charging and the 1ft for the occasional charging from my power bank that I keep in my bag. Noticed the 1ft started to crimp while in my bag so I assume why that one went out. The 6ft was on my bedstand and would never get crimped or turned at odd angles. All in all these were nice in the beginning and lasted quite a while, but its still inconvenient to go bad on a cable that was taken care of. ... show more
