I have used lots of chinesium basin wrenches over the years and finally upgraded to a good rigid one and it’s actually much better. The teeth grip better, the extension makes it much easier to reach tight places, and teeth are still sharp and months of almost daily use.

    • Does the job right
A bit expensive for a tool you shouldn't need to use very often (unless you are a professional), but cheap tools suck more, so I got the "good" one. Amazingly sturdy, easy to use. Wasn't sure how the spring loaded jaws were going to work but was amazingly intuitive once you're under the sink. Highly recommend. This thing will last a lifetime. I'm "one of those dads" that will keep this in my tool chest ready to lend out or help my kids when the time comes. Spend the extra and get "the good one". You won't be dissappointed. ... show more

Yes, this one is pricier than others - but I could have saved myself a bunch of time and quite a few frustrations had I shelled out a few more bucks right away. I had the hardest time tightening a hose clamp of a filtered water line - tried a couple different wrenches and they all failed miserably on that plastic nut. This one did it without issues. I bought this tool for a specific DIY task and really didn't want to spend a lot as I didn't expect to have a lot of use for it in the future. There are definitely cheaper basin wrenches out there but I needed an extra long wrench for the job and in that category this one had the most features for the price, making it likely that it will work as well for any other sink issues that might come my way later on. I wasn't disappointed when this tool arrived - it is quite sturdy, very adjustable and all the features work as described. I was especially sceptical about the spring loaded jaws working well but they did and made completing my task a snap! Made in USA and does exactly what it's supposed to. There's a little more play in the telescopic section than I'd prefer but it doesn't affect usage. Head swivels, opens and closes like it should and Jaws are well ground and hardened to get a good grip.

Made is the USA the shape of the head and sharpness of the teeth helped this wrench grip and remove 25 year old connections that were out of reach with normal wrenches.     • Worth every Penny!
Every Plumber needs one of these ... maybe a few. This is the size you want, it gets those pesky nuts on the bottom of faucets, good for about 1/2" to 1.25" diameter nuts. They make a smaller one for 3/8 nuts and stuff but I hardly ever use it. Other brands do not work like this one.. don't waste your money. If you are going to use it more than once... buy this tool. If not .. buy this tool. I am buying this one for my brother because I cant watch him struggle with one of those hardware store big box versions. ... show more
