I got this laptop for my granddaughter to do her schoolwork and it works pretty good for that. The initial boot up takes a little while and then you go through the set-up prompts. I did not upgrade windows because this will just be used for basic computing. My granddaughter is able to do her schoolwork from her school site, she can easily watch YouTube videos, process emails, and browse the web. While it’s hard to review a computer until you really use it for awhile, but my first impressions are that as long as you know what you are getting, you won’t be disappointed. The N4020 processor is an entry level processor and good for students with school work, office documents and web browsing. It will play media well also but not today’s games which need more processing power. The monitor is the type that needs to be right in front of you for a good picture also. I like a mouse, so I added one, but the touchpad worked well. It took me a little while to find the keyboard backlight and it was a blessing to find, as the keys were too dark for me to see. When I first started it, it took about 5 minutes to prepare itself and then offered me a Windows 11 upgrade for free. Unfortunately that took 6 hours to download and install over fiber optic internet. I’m not sure it was worth it or needed. This has 4gb ram and 128 gb hard drive and it’s thin and it’s light to carry. There are other configurations online that may offer more storage and RAM at a similar price, so shop around. Also, this is made in China and it has a one year warranty, but I’m not sure how those kind of repairs would be made, hopefully in the USA. It’s a good starter computer or good for a student that needs email and word processing, internet browsing and the web cam works well. The speakers are tiny and tinny, but it has Bluetooth and I use my Bluetooth speaker for better sound. There are adequate ports in the side and the every variety you’ll need. But downloading a program from Microsoft while trying to watch a live baseball feed, was too much and it held the download until I shut down the video feed. So, that’s my experience and I’m sure others will add theirs. For 300.00 it’s a good basic laptop and you can do basic functions with it . Definitely not for gaming though. And the small documentation booklet was thorough to help you with most questions, if you read it. It’s worth the money for sure . ... show more
