I was looking to replace my travel cashbox that I take to vendor fairs, and this turned out to be way better than I expected. It has the ability to be plugged into a computer to be used with electronic POS systems, so that it can only be opened when sales are made, etc. But it can also be used perfectly fine without a computer. It is larger than I was looking for, but the quality is so good that I still intend to use it, I might just have to incorporate it into the back of one of my displays. Very happy with this cash box.

This item does work well. I wish there was some additional storage space but it functions as expected. I wish there was a way to lock in the open position and just slide in and out but you have to twist to completely unlock every time. Make sure you have plenty of table space for this item.

This is a great cash drawer and is well made. I really like how the dividers inside can be adjusted for different sized currencies. It features check slots and a lock and can be connected to a POS printer to be opened automatically. It feels very durable and has a good spring back to it. It feels nice and heavy and won't move when you slam the drawer too hard.

The manual aspect of it works fine, but I was unable to get it to connect with my point of sale system. Compared with another drawer that I have, this one is nicer in the regard that it’s got some good weight to it, however, the compartments are definitely smaller, but if you’re looking for something compact, that could be a positive. I didn’t have any issues with the lock either, so that’s always great. It came with some extra keys and the door opens very easily with a little bit of spring to it.

This cash register drawer cash box is very solid and well made. It can be used as a cash box (which is how we currently use it) or hooked up to a pos system. It is fairly heavy and has lots of space to handle a good amount of cash. The lock on it is strong, with a manual override in case you misplace the key. I'm really happy with the quality and size of this and expect it will be useful if/ when we end up hooking it up to pos.

First off, this is a solid beast. It’s not light so when you are traipsing across a park to your art fair tent, expect that this will have some heft. But that is a very good thing in a cash box. It’s hard to crack, and it comes with an Ethernet connection (and cord) for connecting to a POS. I expect this box to last decades!

I will say up front that this is only a partial review since I won't be hooking this up to anything electronic. I got this to have a place for cash at events like festivals and fundraisers. This fits my need beautifully. It's constructed well and the drawer operates smoothly. I will be opening it with the key. It has a switch on the bottom in case you lose power, or the key, so it can still be opened. It only has 4 places for bills but large bills can be placed under the removable, and easily adjustable, coin tray. The non slip feet keep it in place and the larger surface area allows me to keep brochure holders and such on top of it so it's not just on the table taking up space. I wish I could tell you the electronic side of it works as well as the rest of it but that just wasn't my need for it. Now, all that aside, this is not going to stand up to any real pressure if someone wants to break into it. It's not safe quality. Make sure it's secure when it has money in it and don't trust it to protect anything if you leave it unattended. But I still give it 4 stars because it's not intended to be safe quality.
