I love the snatch block and it's quality. Very well made and not cheap like a lot of others. Super heavy duty for its usage and work load parameters. It's ease of use makes it so anyone can use it without issues. The straps, which I also have a 30' and soft ties have amazing quality and strength. Awesome service, even though how it was shipped threw me for a loop. The tree saver came right on time, but the snatch block was nowhere to be seen. Turns out it was shipped separately with a completely different tracking number, but the entire order was marked as delivered. I strap this to a "binding" tree with a cable that is hooked to a comealong to "guide" the fall of a tree that I want to drop. It has helped immensely as the stress is sometimes quite pronounce. It is high quality and safe unlike the "cheaper" route that may end up broken which causes is to "slingshot" creating a very dangerous situation. I haven't used it yet but it looks great quality, it's a great design, it keeps the guide always on track, I'm worried about the 9018 lb of work, my winch is 12000 warn, I didn't like that it makes noise when going inside the car, look a solution that allows you to charge it more comfortably and isolates noise ... show more

I have not had a chance to actually USE this snatch block yet. Which is probably good news, since that means I haven't gotten stuck or come across someone that was stuck. Yet. Give it time. But I thoroughly inspected the block when it arrived and it is definitely high quality. It's designed well. It is packaged well - so well that I am leaving the foam inserts in place until use and I just added the whole box to the crate of recovery gear in the back of my Excursion.
