I bought this for the living room where I watch TV, because the lamps next to me always bother my eyes. I put this lamp over in the corner to the side of me, and I use one of the colors such as blue or green which light up the room just enough to see where I'm going, but do not bother my eyes like regular bulbs. And of course it also works with just a regular white collar, and even that is adjustable with different white light frequencies! The remote works great, it allows me to turn it up or down, off, on, and change the colors. I really can't imagine a better floor lamp than this! This is truly one of the best purchases I've made on amazon, and if you look at my reviews which are only a fraction of what I buy here, you will see that I buy a lot of stuff here. This lamp works great near my closets. They don't get enough light (or they are packed with too much) to see all my clothes and shoes. The light doesn't have to be moved, just swivel the shade. Plus the colors are COOL.

This one was a disappointment. For one thing, it was missing the frame that supports the lampshade and connect it to the lamp. So it's just a bare bulb. I've requested the missing part from CS. I'll update if/when they respond and make it right. It's probably going to be returned either way. I can't seem to connect it to the app or Alexa. I bought this specifically to be able to control it with voice commands, so if that doesn't work, I don't see the point. ... show more

I needed an easy to setup lamp to replace one that broke in my kids' room. I got way more than I expected! This sits easily in a corner and it changes color.
