This is helpful as an organizational tool for my Nintendo switch controllers. My boyfriend and I host game nights so we have extra controllers and this has helped us keep them together and all charged up at the same time.

When docked, NS wiggles much more than I’m comfortable with. Performance of charging is sufficient, though I don’t have faith it would do well fully loaded. You also lose the aesthetic when charging joycons (charges in front/sides are only mounts). Drop down holders are sturdy enough, but threading chargers through them is less than ideal. No storage for joy con grip and only holds PRO controllers well (nanos fall off). Isn’t as easy to use as stock dock, my TV uses “Anynet” and this doesn’t seem to be compatible. No versatility for use, isn’t portable. Lighting features work, way more options than necessary.

I plugged this thing in and it started flashing all its colors, plugged in some joy cons and the charger icon lit up. I was pleased, but by the time I plugged into the switch the whole thing must have short circuited because it shut off and won’t work at all now. I followed the instructions for troubleshooting and it still won’t turn back on. If you’re looking at this I’m the only not paid review and I’m giving 1 star so I’d keep that in mind

So, this docking station was pretty much straightforward. There aren't a whole lot of pieces to or anything although I figured out pretty quickly that it would probably have been better to have this mounted since I really wanted to use the holders for the controllers. It also didn't feel like my Switch was connected securely since the only thing holding it on there was the little plug whereas with the actual Switch docking station, it's actually sat in a slot that holds it. ....but....when I hooked up my Switch to this something happened that hasn't happened before and hasn't happened since. I'm not saying that the dock is the problem....I'm just saying that the problem happened when I used the dock. My Switch would NOT turn on. It was charged and it had been working since it was obviously on because I was planning on using this. I think I ended up leaving it on the dock and came back to it the next day and the Switch wouldn't power on. Even after I took it off the dock it still wouldn't turn on. I had to use Google to figure out how to troubleshoot the issue (all while battling a panic attack). I did eventually get the Switch to turn back on and the battery and everything was fine, but I never put it back on the dock. I also read that it's best to use that actual Switch docking station rather than something like this and this was information that came up in the general search of how to get my Switch turned back on. But, like I said....it could have been something else, but the timing of the issue as well as the issue itself was pretty suspect to me. That being said, I've decided to no longer use this.

I've had an eye out for some type of switch mounting/storage/charging solution for awhile... this is perfect!! I love being able to charge all of my switch controllers in an aesthetically pleasing way!! That said, the upgraded controllers.. I appreciate being able to store those on the mount as well, but not sure about charging... I'm sure I could plug cables in separately, but aesthetically that might be a bit much. Anywho, I wish there was a cohesive way to charge those as well, but perhaps getting some type of short cable would work! Looks like there are only regular USB plugins on one side, and then the USBC looks like the input... all of which is just to say, I'm not really sure how to make the cables look cohesive and not cluttered, but I'm sure I'll figure it out!
