I got this to decorate my room, and it's really good! The remote it comes with, while thin, doesn't feel very cheap. The light bars themselves don't feel cheap, either. They stay standing upright without falling down, and is powered by a USB connection, which you can plug directly into your computer. I highly recommend this light bar if you want something inexpensive to decorate your room with. So cool for my desk setup... I love how I can use the remote controller to adjust its mode without reaching to the switch. The default color palettes are great so I didn't try to customize them. Personally I love to place the bars towards the walls and let the walls reflect it so that the light is softer.
