This retro handheld punches way higher than it's $120 price tag suggests. That said, it is not without some glaring flaws. Starting with the factory OS. It is completely locked down, giving you very limited access to settings. AISLPC has admitted as much and now officially supports dArkOS as an alternative. The best thing you can do is flash the OS to dArkOS. It really unlocks the RG52s potential. The D-pad is a complete waste of time, it's good for scrolling through menus and that is about it. AISLPC's claim of 8 hour battery life is utter hogwash. The battery drains very fast. I strongly recommend shutting the system down after every session. I put mine in sleep for 45 minutes and it drained the battery 9%. That said, the screen is absolutely gorgeous. Once you flash the OS, you can add screen overlays like scanlines to give retro games that authentic look. The sticks feel good, the buttons are responsive. dArkOS even gives you a media player, allowing you to watch a movie or two. The RG52 feels great in hand, it's comfortable for those long sessions.

I loved this retro console. Since I took it out of the box I really liked its design and how comfortable it feels in the hands. The 4-inch screen with 720×720 resolution looks pretty good and makes the games have a sharp and pleasant image. What caught my attention the most is the number of games it can handle. It has many options to choose from, so there is entertainment for all tastes and, above all, it brings that feeling of nostalgia for classic games. 🎮❤️ I also like that it is portable, because I can easily take it anywhere and play without having to take up much space. The controls respond well and the experience in general has been very entertaining.

Its hard to find a proper charger that works with it many 80s and 90s games. Theres a few 2000s games from playstation and gameboy. Theres many iterations of same games between systems and same systems with different versions in different languages. Many of the games included are games like doom, mario's, metroid, kirby's, pacman, tmnt, need for speed, and even games like god of war and assassins creed.

I love everything about this device. I expect to like it but man did it surpass what I expected I'd feel when using it. Feels great to hold, plays games well (forces stretch to fit for smaller aspects but I actually am into that for GBA Pokémon games) I have not attempted to change it but I'm sure you can with the retroarch video settings. I had a device delivered with a nonfunctional button that made is unable to function to its potential and in a day of talking to the seller they had helped by sending a new device that is perfectly functional and I am greatly appreciative of how they handled the issue and communicated quickly to resolve the issue. Mini HDMI out works great and OTG a wired control to run this like a console. Limitless fun. I have recommended this to my brother's and friends who are very green to the Retro Handheld scene. This device is so great out of the box I know anyone of any level of knowledge in this space will be more than pleased. Retro, Advanced, Color, Pocket, Psp, PSX, 64bit,Genesis, you name it around this power range and you'll love it. My favorite design of handheld was my first Retro Handheld purchase was the Powkiddy x55 and it's similar to this device by screen and layout but this device took it to the next level for comfort and size that was missing. TLDR; Begginers are going to be perfectly pleased with the Ease of Use, Gameplay and screen. Seller and Device manufacturer offer help on issues and questions. Experienced people with devices like this will like how clean the out of box and system settings are accessible. Adding your backed up roms is as easy as easy as it comes. Buy this for your kids, friend or any video game nostalgic family members.
