I purchased this for a parent who has severe mobility issues, including absolutely no hand strength. I have spent a small fortune trying to find something for my parent to use, while insisting on remaining independent. On a whim I ordered this excepting to get the same result/response, "they don't work for me." Instead I was pleasantly surprised when the response was, "these work great, I love them. I have no trouble opening and closing the lids."
