I'm 5'2 138lbs carry my weight around my stomach area. Amazon is always suggesting I buy Large. I ignore that now & went with a Medium in these RevolutionRace RVRC GP Pants W in JetBlack. My hip/seat measurement is just under 40 inches. Really happy with the fit around the stomach area especially. I feel tucked in & no pinching in at the waist. I like that the rear waist if this pant has elastic that moves with you. They are rather long I'll have them tailored to fit my short legs but that's what I do with most pants that aren't petite. You could tuck them under with no problem they are sturdy enough to stay tucked under. Love how on-trend they look I'll be purchasing these in all the colors. I typically wear: 10 Petite - Lee Straight Leg pant 6 Short - Croft & Borrow Kohls jean 8 - Lululemon bottoms I also purchased the RVRC GP Pro Pant in Cactus Green & it fits a little tighter in the waist than this one & not as comfortable. I like the fit on this black non Pro pant better.

These pants are wonderful! Now, let me talk sizing. I'm 5'-2" 122#, these run small. I am between a xs/s size 2 or size 26 pants. I purchased a medium in these. They are a little loose, but I can not stand snug hiking pants. In the real cold I could layer leggings under these pants. They are made very well. Love that they are adjustable at the ankle. I have long legs for my height and a short torso. These puddle at my feet a little bit but I actually like the look. With high top hiking boots, it's fine. Great amount of pockets, without looking bulky. I'm totally thrilled with this purchase. Will be bringing these to my hiking trip in Colorado in June for sure.

If you're going to use this for motorcycle riding know that there is no real armor protection - just reinforced fabric over certain areas (i.e. knees). But if you were just going to wear jeans anyways this pants offers some utility that make it ride friendly. Deep cargo pockets, sturdy zippers, high waist, cinched ankle velcro straps, and large belt loops. I wore it all day in the office so its def comfortable if youre going to riding and then walking, hiking, or some other activity. I think the look is fantastic and it's going to be my go to summer riding pants until I want to spend $200 on some real protection. Fit: for reference, I'm 5'1" and 116 lbs. and purchased a size Small. I cinched the ankles and tucked the excess hem under then wore boots so the extra length was no problem. As others have said, it's not very generous in the thighs. Because of this, you may lose some space from the cargo pockets if fitted or tight. In contrast, it's generous in the waist, which I liked for comfort. There are add-on buttons on Amazon that someone could use if you wanted it more fitted there.

I bought these for arborist work and outdoor guiding. They’re a bit hot, even on a cooler fall day and I’m cold natured. The stretch is pretty decent, and the fabric seems really durable. The pockets are amazing. I didn’t have the problem others did with the gap at the butt below the waistband. I am not crazy curvy- my thighs are smaller than most women my size and my waist is bigger- and I found these pants were perfect in the thigh but too big in the waist. I might order a small next time. I wear between a 4 and 6 at American Eagle. I’m 5’3” and 135 lbs. My inseam is 30, and these pants were just a bit long with my work boots. They won’t fit over my boots, so they just scrunch. I’ll be ordering a small when I get paid and I’ll update with photos.

Not gonna lie. I read the other reviews warning me abt sizing for women with thighs. I was optimistic & thought they meant thick women... :( I'm 5'7 & 170lbs. I am not chubby. I am fit. I've carried my wide hips through anorexia & they've never changed really. I also happen to work a high intensity job and my grandmother is Swedish. I was THRILLED to order these pants! They have NO given the posterior stitching besides that cute & pointless ruffle elastic in the back. My legs and thighs fit perfect. The pant were almost too long even lol. They did NOT FIT in the hips. I have no interest in a larger & baggier size. I read the review submitted by the male arborist & am thrilled for him & took that as a sign of quality. But no wonder his dude hips fit perfectly. This will probably be my first ever return and I am disappointed.

Amazing pants! With reinforced knees and butt they are great for hiking and scrambling up rocks. They also really compliment your figure. They wash well and look great after many washings. Also tons of pockets . I get loads of compliments and send this link to strangers who ask where I got them. I have bought two more pairs since and got my husband a pair

Don’t buy them based on your normal sizing! Make sure you measure your waist, as their sizing is off, as a result, they run small. I normally wear XL, Amazon’s suggested sizing was XL. Which was out of stock. No problem, the reviews said they run small, anyway, so I ordered XXL and I can’t even get them buttoned. They seem like a nice quality material and shipping was pretty fast, tho.

I was worried about these when I bought them, but they are worth the money. I work with animals and I'm outside and in the woods a lot. These pants have been a game changer for me they are comfortable durable also stretchy. They are not to hot in the summer and also I am able to wear Long John's in the winter time under them. They have been amazing for me . They have not faded in the washing machine as many times as I've had to wash them. They're all so great if you're out in the field and you get something on them you can just pour water on them and wash them off and they dry really fast. They do not tear easily. I have also purchased three more pairs.
