I'm not sure about all of the hair dryer hype. This one is just basic, but doing the job perfectly. I don't use the attachments. I use high heat. My hair is still smooth and healthy. I guess I'm just not a $200 hair dryer kind of girl.

It's a good blow dryer for the price, it has a high and low settings as well as cool, warm and hot and I'm there's also a button to hold down for an extra burst of cold air. I really like the attachments, they're easy to put on and take off. The smoothing attachment makes it easy to blow dry my hair smooth and straight, I don't even have to use a straightener after blow drying and the diffuser works good as well for when I want my hair curly. My only complaint is that it doesn't stay well in the electrical outlet so when I'm moving or shaking the blow dryer it sometimes falls out of the outlet. ... show more

I have always loved both Revlon and Estee Lauder. This hair dryer is powerful - has several optional functions. Price was reasonable. Look forward to using this blow dryer for years to come (comes with an extended warranty assuming you use it as directed).

We have actually owned three of these over the years. They are the best in my wife's and my opinion. So, you say, "if they are so good, why so many in the past years?" The way my wife wraps the cord, in a circle around the handle, it tends to crack the vinyl around the power cord after so many times. Really no fault of the unit, it's just an electric cord failure due to the user's habits. So, the unit itself is great and if I could break my wife's habit, they would probably last forever. As long as Revlon continues this version, we will keep buying. ... show more

This hair dryer works fine for the price. It's no louder than your standard hair dryer and has all of the adjustment settings that you would expect. Its larger in size and the color is pretty. However, the design of the nozzle and its attachments is oval-shaped, which causes some issues. 1. It is hard to secure the attachments it requires the ovals to be aligned rather than the simpler twist and snap method you would see in circular designs. 2. You can't use any universal attachments because they will not fit. 3. The angle of the attachments is fixed, so using the concentrator can be tricky when used with a round brush, forcing you to hold the dryer in awkward positions. Overall its a decent hair dryer but the nozzle design is something to consider and be aware of. ... show more
