This hair dryer works very well. Lots of power but not too loud. It's a little heavier and longer than my previous dryer which may make it not so easy to travel with. Only con for me is if my fingers are wet or have hair care product on them, the sliders to turn it on/off and change the settings are not easy to move as my fingers slipped off. ... show more

I was looking for a hair dryer that wouldn't encourage my wavy hair to frizz or look dry, but otherwise I just wanted a basic model that would do the job of drying and fluffing my hair. This covers it very well! It's light, it has the basic settings for temperature and speed, and it comes with a diffuser. It's a little challenging to wiggle the diffuser onto the end of the nozzle, but I've never really seen a hair dryer that didn't have that issue. I looked at many hair dryers before deciding on this one. I love Revlon for makeup, and was drawn to the simplicity and price of this model. The first time I used it, I got so many compliments on my hair!! It was fuller and smooth and people asked me if I had recently gotten a haircut or been to the salon. We haven’t owned a hair dryer for over 10 years. Recently decided we needed to have one, for us as well as to help de-shed our dogs :) We decided we didn’t need or want a high-end, high priced hair dryer. So we limited our budget to under $30. We were pleasantly surprised to find there are many decent quality hair dryers available in the $20-$30 range. And you can often catch one on sale — like this Revlon that we were able to get for under $20. We chose this one over others in this price range because it offers a Cool temp setting, along with the Medium and High heat temps. And it also provides Cold Shot and Turbo buttons. And supposedly the ionic technology helps to prevent frizz. This hair dryer may not be as light-weight as the compact models, but it certainly isn’t heavy. So it fits our needs just fine. And on the Cool temp setting, we can use it to help de-shed our dogs. So while we can’t make a comparison against a high-priced, high-end hair dryer, we’re really pleased with this low-priced Revlon. ... show more
