The color is perfect so lit, it's an orange red. Wish it was more orange and matte...it has a light feel which I love but it's not matte at all...it wears off fast...its a creme feeling on lips

It's a bright orange-red color, stays on better than Clinique lipstick, at a fraction of the price. It's matte, no shine, so that lips don't appear to be wet. It has no odor which was important to me. Some lower-end lipsticks have a perfume scent that emits with the warmth of speech and seems to float out like a vapor. It's really unpleasant. This lipstick has no odor that I can detect. If wishes were facts, I would wish that it was just a 1/4 of a shade lighter. It is brilliant but I blot it down a bit. One can control a little more pop than desired, but cannot do much with less pop than desired. So I was pleased with this inexpensive orange/red "So-Lit" lipstick by Revlon. ... show more
