This flat iron has no business being so darn amazing. Lol. I have tried and returned SO many flat irons over the years. After I had my baby girl a few years ago my hair completely changed and would not hold a style no matter what products or tools I used and no matter what kind of cut I got. I don’t know what it is that’s so different about this flat iron from the others I’ve tried but it just WORKS. I tried high end tools that were way more expensive than this that didn’t work nearly as well. My hair is very fine and thin and I use the lowest heat setting and it works beautifully. My hair glides through it like silk. No pulling or getting stuck. And when it’s done it looks healthy and shiny. I have been able to do all the fun hair tricks I see on various social media platforms with this flat iron with incredible ease. Its just so fun to use! And my style LASTS. My favorite way to use it is to do what I call mermaid waves. I get so many compliments on my hair and the style lasts all day even in crazy wind! Also…. It’s so pretty!!! The blue in the pictures doesn’t do it justice. It’s more of a light teal than blue. I love that it’s a fun color. And I’m very happy with the cord length. I’ve tried so many flat irons with cords that are ridiculously long and just get tangled and in the way. I’m not doing hair in a salon. I don’t need cords to reach all the way across the room. The cord length is perfect. The lock feature is another plus. I don’t find a real purpose for locking a flat iron in place but dangit, it’s just so satisfying. Lastly, the quality is so nice! I really like it for the price, but I'll mention I'm pretty low maintenance when it comes to my hair. I've used it twice now. Pros: Heats quickly Hair glides through plates/no snagging Plates touch one another on mine (other reviews said they didn't) Round barrel great for curling hair Doesn't burn my scalp or fingers as others have posted, but I only touch the very top tip for spinning my hair around it for curls. I keep the temp in the low 300s. Cons: My only issue with this so far is the two plates don't align - one is higher than the other, so a bit of a quality issue ... show more

I used a straightener for years, but sadly it's not being made anymore. I've tried several (some really expensive) and none have worked great until this one! Been using it for a few months & it works great. Having different heat setting is great, and I like the color coding (ie: green won't burn your hair). Locking feature is nice for traveling. Cord is a good length, although longer than I need.
