I saw the reviews, I saw people say it didn’t work from the start, and of course I thought it must have been human error. They must not have used the right battery or understood how to operate it. But nope - there is no question - it just doesn’t work. Mine turns on for a second and then goes off, no matter what you do. I tried to return it 2 days after I received it and it said that returns were not allowed on this type of product. Extremely frustrating. I got it because a trusted influencer on instagram recommended it, but I should have listened to the other reviewers. Do not buy!!!!!

This wand is NOT rechargeable via USB as it says in the description. You need 3 AAA batteries (not included) to use it. At first when I put brand new batteries in, it wasn’t turning on, but there is a trick, you have to hold down the power button for longer than you think and it will turn on.

I bought this because there is a ton of science to back the use of red and blue LED light therapy for acne and other skin conditions. Most comparable products are much more expensive, so this is a good budget option. My biggest complaint is that this company refuses to share the specific wavelengths in their products. It seems like a no brainer to include that info in the specs, and without knowing the wavelengths it’s hard to know how effective it is. Ideally it would be around 415nm for blue light and 630 for red light. Hopefully this product is close to that, but who knows? Otherwise it feels well made and works as it should. I use rechargeable AAA batteries and they last a long time with regular use.

It took 3 weeks to get this item. On the 2nd use it stopped working. I changed batteries 3 times even though I knew they were new ones. Contacted company they said they would send me new one. I was very happy, good customer service. Well they still have not shipped it. The projected delivery date is Feb 9-mid March. So much for good customer service. I want to edit this review and say that the company did ship another one to me free of charge, 2 day shipping. They have proved to be a great company with great customer service. I would definitely buy again. It seems that the original one i received was just a dud and not a piece of garbage. I am very happy.

It really does work. I use it at the very first sign I'm about to have an issue, I will go through two cycles and maybe a third depending on the issue and the next day you can noticeable tell the breakout has come to a halt and is calming down

I use a LOT of various red light devices, some of which contain blue light as well. I think this is my least favorite. It feels cheap (which it is, and isn't necessairly bad on its own) and it takes batteries - I don't really even have batteries anymore! Some other, more expensive devices come with two rechargeable batteries specific for their devices (along with a little charger), and some are completelt rechargeable, no removable battery at all. I prefer rechargeable, but the two rechargeable batteries is also fine. I don't like the fact you need to go and get batteries for this one. I like the shape overall okay, and I think it looks nice. I think it would be better if it was just straight up and down so it can stand up, but this is a bit sideways so you have to lay it flat. I don't think it's the worst thing ever, but I would definitely recommend saving up for a better device if you can - $50-$150 will get you a metal device that's rechargeable or has two rechargeable batteries and has stronger light. Overall, mine does WORK, but I don't like it much so I haven't used it more than a couple times. Someone else said in their review that it stopped working after like two weeks. Mine hasn't stopped, but I also just haven't continued to use it.
