This is a great trailer! Brought in the box, pulled it out and after a quick assembly we were on our first trip around the block - door to ride 20 minutes! We have two 10lb chihuahua mixes and they fit very comfortably in here together. I love that it is a solid, hard floor and agree with other posters that the addition of a towel or bed will make it more comfy. All in all a great carrier.

This cart is sturdy and reliable I used it with my electric bike and it did great. It protected my puppy when a car hit it. The damages done were to the cover and wheel. I did have to put things in to keep it from tipping after the hit so I could get home. I give this a 10 out of 10 for being a great trailer!

Not for all bikes. I’m looking for an adapter in order to use on my carbon bike. Worked great on my husbands Trek bike. Dog didn’t enjoy the net, but once we opened it up, he was happy. It was a perfect fit for our 27.5 lb. Frenchie. The safety leash is truly beneficial. I would buy again. Love that the colors match my bike too. Now just have to find that adaptive spindle for my bike.

Initially, we liked the product and features. Our dog weighs 20#s. However, on the second usage, the trailer flipped on its side on a slight downhill with a slight curve. When we contacted Retrospec, we were informed after several emails and discussions that we had incorrectly installed the hookup to the bicycle - even though we had followed the instructions as detailed and illustrated. The representative did tell us that the instructions are currently under review. (Since we purchased the trailer, we noted 3 new reviews indicating units tipping over.) The representative was very courteous and helpful. We appreciated working with a representative with competent communication skills. We will be replacing it with a unit that has a lower center of gravity and/or wider wheelbase. Had this incident not occurred, we would have been satisfied with this unit. If you purchase this unit, consider contacting Retrospec regarding the hookup to your bike in addition to reading the instructions.
