This is a brilliant invention and my dog loves it so much she jumps up and down with glee when I bring it out. It’s also very cute and stylish and people point at us and smile when we ride by. Last week we got caught in a torrential downpour and I closed the plastic cover and she ended up relatively unscathed, as opposed to her human (me) who was totally drenched at the end of our misadventure. Our 30lb dog is getting older (13) so I got this so she could join us on bike rides. She absolutely hates it but it does work awesome if you have a chiller dog. Pros: easy in and out either front or back. Leash clip inside. Supportive floor for the dog, but you should add a bed or blanket for comfort. Cons: her tail kept slipping out the small one hole in the back and I was scared it was going to get caught in the wheel. I never figured out how to add the flag. Def need to add a bed or blanket to the bottom or the dog will get jostled around a bunch since there are no shocks. ... show more

Got my dog all excited for bike ride around town and literally within 5 minutes the welds that hold the wheel on broke, causing the wheel to fold in. It ripped the fabric and immobilized the thing. Honestly thankful it broke so close to home because I had to walk it back. I bent the bracket back to see if I could keep going, but it just folded again after a few feet. My dog weighs 45 pounds, so I wasn't even at the weight limit. Considering how quickly it broke, I'd say if your dog is 35 pounds or over, go with another trailer. If you have a smaller dog I don't see why it wouldn't work. Only positive I can think of is the way it looks. Kinda sucks that the frame isn't very durable because I really liked how the black looked behind my bike. ... show more
