The basket itself is great. I have had it for over a year, and it it can hold a reasonable amount of groceries. I will not hold a weeks worth of groceries but it will be perfect for odds and ends. The strap that supports the basket may be short and mot be able to wrap around the frame. I had to get extra velcro to fix it so be prepared to do a little velcro rigging. ... show more

Basket is sturdy but not to heavy. I have trouble with sharp turns when moving my bike around in the garage. The handles on the basket rattle and are pretty annoying. Will probably zip tie them down. For the price its not bad and it gets the job done. Installing it was super easy.

    • Ok until it broke.
Handy basket to do a quick trip to the store. After about two years, the welds of the lower bracket started to crack. I jerry rigged it with zip ties, which helped until the bracket welds completely failed and . I dont think I was overloading it...usually a half bag of groceries max.

    • Sturdy but heavy
It’s a nice sturdy basket but rather heavy. I guess it makes sense that the stronger it is, the heavier it’s likely to be, I just don’t like cycling with this much weight on my handlebars. Feels quite uncomfortable.
