Love it. Is easy to setup with the included Retroid launcher software. Most Play store games run great and emulation is solid through 6th gen. it has a great battery life especially compared to PC handhelds, Iโve been able to play android games for hours and still have charge for the next day. The controls are a solid layout for retro games and the buttons are satisfying to use. The screen is beautiful and overall quality of the device is very good. I've had a few months now with my retroid pocket 5. I gotta say I freaking love this thing. It can do so much, and it is quite powerful, actually, very rare that I encounter lag. Definitely, wanna get the secondary monitor for it. At some point. And I'm still learning how to set stuff up And make all my files clean and organize. But thanks to YouTube It's easy to figure out. So my biggest issue with this handheld is I have big hands so it's very hard for me to hold on to the console, but there are all kinds of awesome Aftermarket grips in cases. I've tried a few different ones now, and they really help with being able to hold on to the console.And for long periods of time as well. 10/10 probabaly gonna get another handheld here in the near future.

Bought it as a gift for my husbandโs birthday a year or so ago, and he still uses it pretty much every day. It works well for him and is pretty reliable. Makes it easy for him to play tons of games from the comfort of our bed. Itโs a decent size for him to easily see the screen and is compatible with most games he wants to play on it. It is very loud and clear sounding and he had no issue setting it up.

This is an amazing product. Not only is android optimized but the controlls are supported in most games. Rocknix is also available as a Linux option that boots from sdcard, for those who want a little more control over the games and systems available. Very impressed with the power, battery life and the screen quality is top notch. I bought this to use as in an arcade and was happy to see most docks also work for video and audio out and Bluetooth for controllers and audio for any crazy setups you may have. Would definitely buy this again.

Awesome android emulation console. Only comes with 128gb of storage, so a large micro sd card is recommended since the games you'll more than likely want to load onto this thing are quite big and the size can add up fast. The OLED screen is absolutely gorgeous and the device feels amazing in the hands. Retroid makes a grip for this handheld that makes it a little bigger, but supposedly improves the ergonomics by a ton. If I could improve one thing, it would be for the left stick to be above the d-pad instead of below it. It's a relatively small thing, but would make this device so much more comfortable for playing more modern games. Anyway, this thing is pretty powerful and can play games from any retro console up to the 6th gen, some games from a more modern console, Windows games through Winlator, and native android games. This thing is the perfect size for portability and you really just can't beat that screen. Totally recommended, but probably not for total beginners like one of the other reviewers who expected games to come preloaded.

It's been a month since I gifted it to my bf for his birthday and he hasn't stopped thanking/praising me for it. He takes it everywhere he goes and dare I say uses more than his PC at home. So Iโve been looking at retro handhelds for a minute and this one is fantastic but it does come with a few cons be prepared to spend a little extra to get a premium feeling device. An sd card definitely need grips for longer play sessions and there is a guide online for setting it up it took me a few hours but once it was setup man Iโve found old games that hold my attention and feel better to play then some aaa titles. Very nice device that can run up to ps2 and steam link all those games in your steam library.
