Just got it in the mail today. I love this keyboard so much! Even more so than I thought I would. The type-writer sound of the keys makes my ASMR so happy! I got the white version to match my Mac and smart mouse, and it's beautiful and sleek. It's only taking me a while to get used to the rounded keys because I have fake nails. I've gone from a Mac keyboard to this typewriter, and I'm so glad I did. I'm an online college student, so this makes me look forward to sitting at my desk all day. The little lever audibly clicks as well when you change the light setting. The volume control knob and the dimmer knob are very responsive and are satisfying to turn. The only con is that the two keys aren't as bright as the others. (which may have been because of the shipping. The packaging was intact, and there was no sign of outer damage, but there was limited bubble wrap inside the packing box which leads me to believe it may have gotten jarred around in transit. The keyboard's box itself was nicely packaged. The Caps Lock and Win/option keys aren't as bright. The Caps lock lights up bright when pressed, so I can overlook that, and I never use the "option" key. Otherwise, I am VERY happy with the purchase. The key board worked really good and I used it as my desktop keyboard. The colors were bright but a little bland in color differentiation but was good with the light patterns which was controlled with the lever I thought was a good quality. Nothing felt cheap and felt really sturdy but I will have to say that I recommend this strictly for on the go or for other digital devices and not a main keyboard for a desktop tower which I originally bought it for but the keyboard was too small and didn’t have any comfort with no where to put my wrists at the lower part of the keyboard. The buttons sounded very satisfying tho with the space button getting stuck on the way back up after being pressed sadly after a couple days of use and all in all it worked as intended but just wasn’t meant for me in the end with a couple minor complaints. ... show more

I was looking for a keyboard that would accommodate my poor typing skills, with larger keys, spaced farther apart, which I saw this keyboard had from various reviews. When I received it I found it was a standard layout and did nothing for my fat finger approach to typing, so I returned it. I’ve struggled to find a relics typewriter keyboard and an affordable price, so when I saw this one at this price I jumped on it. I’ve only been using it for a day, but so far so good. Build quality is excellent, keys sound great and I really like the clear lights. The simulated wood trip against the black keys gives the keyboard a an expensive look.     • Sleek and nostalgic, but some cons...

A few things about this keyboard: Pros 1. If you enjoy the nostalgia of an old-fashioned typewriter, this is a great keyboard to get. The sound is lovely and the keys give you a bit of the push-back an old typewriter gives when typing, so you have the experience. It takes some getting used to for those who haven't ever used a typewriter before. 2. It looks great on the desk. When I shared the photo on social media, I got a lot of great comments and feedback. It's definitely a sleek-looking piece of tech, so it'd be a great gift idea for those who love retro things or enjoy writing-related things, fun technology, or a sleek upgrade to their desk. 3. Came well packaged and 75% charged up and ready to go. I had no issues connecting via bluetooth, my iMac found it right away. I've had it for a couple of weeks now and haven't had any connecting issues. 4. I love that the volume knob is off to the side and the light brightness is on the other. Just by looking at it, you wouldn't know unless you've used the keyboard before. Cons 1. I wish the backlit light gives you an option for all white. I'm not into the colorful light variation or having the lights flash, I just want all-white lights. Without the light, it's harder to tell which keys are what. 2. Not very ergonomically designed since it lays flat on the desk. It needs to be designed with a kickstand in the back to give it height or angle. I'm a writer, so I'm typing for hours; I had to buy a separate keyboard riser for this to make it comfortable to type on for long periods. And because of the smaller size of this keyboard, if your keyboard riser doesn't have a lip that extends all the way across the bottom, it will slide off; so make sure your keyboard riser has a built-in lip that extends. 3. Only if it matters to you: The keys are loud (like a typewriter), a sound that kind of bounces off the plastic body. I don't mind it, but something to be aware of if someone else in the household hates the sound of clickety-clackety keys. My husband dislikes the sound of loud keys, so I have to make sure my door is closed or type with less fervor when I'm writing at night because of a sleeping child down the hall. 4. I'm not loving the fact that after a few minutes of not typing, the keyboard goes to sleep. As a writer, I'm often stopping to think about a scene or editing, and it takes 5-10 seconds for the keyboard to wake up before I can start typing again. It does this even if you have it connected via usb. Honestly, because of this feature, it would be the sole reason why I would return this product. If anyone knows of a way to turn this feature off so it's on all the time, please let me know. I would rather charge it often than have it go to sleep on me while I'm working, it really interrupts flow. ... show more

When this came available, I had to have it because it was both functional and fancy. I get lots of compliments and inquiries when I use it. I really love it, it was easy to setup and figure out. Only complaint is the capslk and windows key lights don’t work, but it doesn’t really bother me as they’re at the edge of the keyboard.
