Got this as a Christmas gift and it turned out to be an awesome choice for family time. Setup was super simple, literally plug and play. No internet, no downloads, no ads, just gaming. The game library is huge, over 10,000 classics, so there's something for everyone. It's great for hand-eye coordination and quick thinking, especially for kids. Plus, it's perfect for parent-child interaction. We've been playing together and having a blast reliving old-school games. I purchased one of these and connected to my television, which is a brand new 65 inch, and the main screen would come on, but no games would load. The game menu was missing. I contacted the seller went through all the troubleshooting steps and nothing worked so I returned the item and it got a replacement. When the replacement came in, I hooked it up and had the same issues as I did with the first one. I tried hooking the new one onto a different television set, which is also brand new but a different brand and size and still had the same issues. All the controllers connect successfully, the unit power up , like it should , etc., etc. but the game menus simply do not load. I work in IT so I’m not completely ignorant about how things are supposed to be set up and operate. Apparently there is a batch of corrupted SD cards or something going on here. I would really really like this thing to work, but apparently it just will not so I cannot with good faith recommend this to anyone.

Honestly, I didn’t expect much, but this retro console turned out really fun. Plugged it into the TV and it worked right away — super simple. There are tons of classic games, and the picture looks surprisingly good on a 4K TV. The wireless controllers feel light but work well with no lag. My kids and I have already spent a few evenings playing together. For this price, it’s a great buy — nostalgic, easy, and really entertaining!

Huge piece of junk. Took forever to get the controllers to connect, it literally comes with no instructions on how to operate, the graphics are horrible and the whole thing quit working completely after two weeks. It won't even power on now. Do yourself a favor and do not purchase this piece of crap!

My son loved it, lots of games included I decided to give my son his Christmas gift early and it was a great surprise. From the moment we turned it on, he was excited and happy, he didn’t want to stop playing. The console comes with a large number of retro games, with plenty of variety to enjoy for hours. It’s very easy to use, just plug it in and start playing. The controllers work well and the menu is simple, making it great for both kids and adults who enjoy classic games.

HDMI port is unstable, you have to hold the console in a certain position for it to connect to the tv. Cannot get either remote to connect… all and all… I waisted my money
