This my 3rd retrax cover. It's pretty easy to install, but it requires 2 people. The cover is a solid piece, and very sturdy. The main issue I've had with all 3 is that the rear of the cover (the tailgate end) has a very thin, single flap of rubber that is supposed to keep the water out, but it doesn't. If Retrax has engineers on staff that could design and fabricate these great covers that sell for more than $1300, then they should be able to figure out a better waterproofing system. Also, they have plastic adjustment screws that strip out easily with the included Allen wrench. I'm not sure I'd buy another Retrax unless they change these 2 things, there are too many other options out there now. ... show more

I like the concept, but the small 5 1/2’ bed seems even smaller from the space the cylinder takes up. The Nylon screws didn’t work on my Ford. They kept slipping off the attachment rail, it’s aluminum. So I bought steel bolts and replaced all 8. I have the composite, now I wish I had paid for the metal one. ... show more

Best price online and it's pretty great. Installation was fairly simple except my bed liner didn't work with it. It bubbled out in the corners where this is supposed to sit. Took that out and this works really well!
