I purchased this for my restaurant roughly 6 months ago. I had read a number of negative reviews but still made the purchase. My restaurant serves about 60 customers a day. I provide some water with ice. We also make smoothies with the ice. This ice machine works very well. I have no complaints. The price point is great. We replaced our scotsman ice maker with this one. We have had it for 2 months now, and she is going strong. My husband loves it because it makes a ton of ice and he is able to bag it up for his fishing trips. The rest of the family loves it because we use our water bottles all day long. I will say it is a bit loud, so that took a minute to get used to. But for the price compared to what we paid for the scotsman that was always being repaired! Definitely worth it! ... show more

We installed this ice maker into our new shop for our employees to use. It's been great to have, cycle time is fast so it refills quickly. Very happy with this purchase, would highly recommend. You may want to get a bigger ice scoop than comes with unit, but other than that it's been great.
