Great for crabs
Style: B: Strong Aluminum Handle, 45" Full
I have been using this for crabbing and it’s made of good quality and hold several good size crab at one time. Only thing I would say is the extension was a bit sticky at first. Just place a small amount of oil and works great. Folds and retracts fine. Decent value for the money!

Convenient for the hike to fishing spots!
Style: B: Strong Aluminum Handle, 45" Full
5 stars because it is exactly what it says it is. 3 stars for the purchaser for not reading the description. It's a great net. It is definitely going to work for smaller fish, which was honestly what it was purchased for. In my head, I could use it to pull 20 pound fish out of the river. I don't think the capacity and construction would be a good fit for that. But. pulling some 3-8 pounders out of the water. Definitely. Honestly. Kind of exited to take it out this summer for our shad fishing. We hike out on rocks, and having this folded up in my pocket is gonna ROCK!! ... show more

Net Needs an Upgrade

I used this for the first time to remove fish from a koi pond, and the net tore after only about the third dip. It clearly needs a better-quality of netting. The folding design and telescoping handle are nice touches, but those features are of little value if the netting itself is not durable. Update to first review, sell offer a full refund due to the net quality. There for I upped the rating to four star just for the customer service. ... show more

Bought this for my son to catch frogs and insects. Ended up using it to retrieve a large snapping turtle from the pond net. The net and frame both held an estimated 50-70 pounds. I would absolutely recommend this and will be buying another!

Disappointing
Style: B: Strong Aluminum Handle, 45" Full
We bought this for our 13 year-old granddaughter who is an avid fisher. It broke on the first day she used it. She was not rough with it and did not overload it with a heavy fish. Clearly it needs to be redesigned. It was outside of the return window, so she could not return it for a replacement. She was quite upset. ... show more

Sturdy Fish Net
Style: B: Strong Aluminum Handle, 45" Full
Ordered the landing net a few weeks ago. When it arrived I looked over real good and liked how sturdy and easy it was to set up and use. I liked it so much that I ordered another one a week later for a fishing trip that I am taking with my nephews later this month. Just on what I've observed I'll give it thumps up and recommend it to anyone who is interest, ... show more
