It looks well made, it’s small and functionally well thought out. How well does it work? I don’t know, and hope to never find out. But I don’t feel like slicing through my seatbelt or breaking my car’s window to test it.

Bought this for my daughter to keep on hand in her new vehicle. PROS: - Lightweight yet seemingly durable - Hammer tool works on regular glass; have not thankfully had reason to try on auto glass - Blade is sharp! CONS: - A little harder to operate than other model I have that is handheld.

The cost was excellent for a product, if needed, could very well save your life. This is a must have if you traverse remote mountain/river/lake/ocean roadways. The ability to cut a malfunctioning seat belt or break glass from the inside of your vehicle in an accident is immeasurable in that moment of need.     • A great size and highly visible
I used to carry those glass break hammers in my car. I now have these in my cars too. The blade is super sharp to quickly cut a seat belt. The glass punch can be used multiple times. But note: it DOES NOT WORK ON LAMINATED GLASS. That means your windshield, and in some cases, even the driver side and passenger side windows. The back window and the back seat windows are almost always tempered glass, which is the only type of glass this will work with. Check your vehicle to be sure you have tempered glass before purchasing. One of my cars does, the other had laminated windows (I left these in the back seat since those are still tempered). Your windows may be marked and labeled as to what type they are. With laminated glass, you can see the layers if you roll the window down and look at the edge of the glass.
