  • Workout bands
Color: grey Style: 150LBS
The hpygn sport resistance bands are incredibly versatile and have added a new dimension to my training routine. They come in various resistance levels, which makes it easy to adjust the intensity based on my fitness goals. I love how lightweight and portable they are; I can easily take them anywhere, whether I'm at home, the gym, or even traveling. The bands are durable and have held up well even with regular use. I've noticed improvements in my strength and flexibility, especially in my legs and core. Overall, I highly recommend the [Brand and Model] resistance bands for anyone looking to enhance their workouts. They are an affordable and effective tool that can be used for a variety of exercises. I'm really happy with my purchase! ... show more

  • Very nice set of home workout bands
Color: grey Style: 150LBS
Happy with this purchase. I wasn't sure what to expect for the price point but I think the items included are very well-made. This package has everything you need for a good workout. One weakness is that the clips are not easy to manipulate when you're trying to switch bands or components on the bands but it may just be that I'm old and don't have great manual dexterity. Overall though for the price you really can't go wrong with this set of resistance bands. With the enclosed components you will get a good workout. The enclosed informational diagrams are also very helpful to know how to correctly work different muscle groups or have an effectivewhole body workout. ... show more

  • Good for high ROM and band adjustability
Color: grey Style: 150LBS
ROM: I got the lowest weight range and its Overall a decent starter kit for home training and gets the job done for high ROM(range of motion) training. I was able to pull the highest weight 50lb band to about 3 times it's normal length without feeling the handle ancor shift. When pulling one handle when looped through the door ancor, the tension on the other of the band did not change, making it good for alternating sets. Durability: I have had mine for a few months now and nothing has been damaged at all. The bands maintained durability regardless of tension angle or tie length. Design: design is reasonably user accessible and adjustable, and durable, though I'm not sure if the adjustability was intentional or not. As you can see in the first 2 pictures i was able to remove the handle rings from the bulge ancor in the 3rd pic and adjust the bands to any length. My critiques are that the metal clips and fabrics that connect the handle and band aren't the optimal shape/length to keep the tension steady and constant Through the entire ROM which can be annoying during certain exercises. The metal clips that you can see in the last pic are a completely rounded shape, which makes the fabric scrunch awkwardly on it and sometimes the clip will rotate to the other end from constant movement. I believe a better shape would be this: __ \ / instead of this: ( ) U U My issue with the fabrc on both ends it that the connectors ar simply to long as well as the loop on the handle and it just impares potential tention and coumpounded weight. Perceived rate of exertion and tension consistency: I found that the full tension of each band was noticable at about 2 to 3 times it's original length, without a tie in int or anything like that. Using multiple bands on the same ancor doesn't seem to increase the actual resistance experience, but realy just alters the required tension angle for maximum compound weight. So basically when using only one or to bands on the same set of handle the tension angle is usually completely linear while using more than that requires them to be stretched around and additional ancor point such as a wall, fabric loop, knee, feet, etc to get the best contraction and exertion in the entire ROM. Using 2 different sets of bands in each hand is overall the better option. As far as the resistance ratio ÷ compound weight, it seems that for each band the perceived resistance and exertion starts at about 3 inch stretch, then stays constant up until 2x length, then quiklyramps up to hypertrophy inducing exertion from 2x to 3x+ length. So to translate the gymbro speak into english that means in order to perform any significant strength training you will have to have enough room in your space to either pull the bands up to 2x - 3x+ times the normal length or angle the weights around a pulley or wall, when using one set of bands. It also means that whil hypertrophic muscle building exertion for dumbells is about 5 to 15 maximum reps (for full ROM exercises) for these bands it is about 10 - 25 reps, while also alternating tension angles and lengths. So that's my full semi professional analysis. I'm going to buy another set soon and get the highest weight and i will be using these to teain my little brother when he comes thru this summer. Hopefully this helps and you can utilize the tips to maximize gains. Happy lifting. ... show more

  • Replaced Cable Machine
Color: grey Style: 150LBS
I was looking for some cable machines for my home gym and I decided to give these a try instead. This product completely replaced cable workouts for me. Very sturdy cables and along with a separate bicep rope extension, these are definitely serving their purpose in my home gym.

  • Product looks as advertised
Color: grey Style: 200LBS
I can't find anything wrong with these exercise bands/tubes. They are tubes but the site calls them bands so not really sure what to call them. It's like surgical tubing that we used to make wrist rockets with. I like the variety of strengths. I give a 4 for durability due to the size of the little carabiners that connect the tubes to the handles. Those are light to medium weight and I will be surprised if they do not fail. I have used similar carabiners in other applications and the gate springs fail eventually. I will probably go to Home Depot and get some stainless steel ones that I know will hold up. Also, because they are so small, when you clip the handle D-ring into the tiny carabiner, you have to then rotate the carabiner around so the webbing at the tube end will fit inside of the biner and not open the gate. Anyway, it's not a big deal but it would have been nice to have a nicer clasping system. I have some other tubes that have nice stainless clasps that are shaped more like a sailboat swivel snap shackle and they are very robust. The stitching is good but the webbing is not as strong as the older ones I have. Again, I doubt this will create an issue down the road but it just gives the equipment a cheaper feel. I'm sure it will hold up alright though. The tubes I am replacing just are getting older and one day when I was doing curls, I might have needed to add another tube or maybe I should not have stretched it out so far but the tip broke off and the tube went flying. These newer tubes have the weight resistance stitched onto one end so that's handy to be able to pick up the tube and see what the resistance is since they are all colored similarly (gray and black shades). I have not used them in a real workout yet since they just arrived yesterday and I only opened them today. I got them to be able to work out when I travel. Using tables and chairs in hotel rooms leaves a little to be desired. I would recommend these to anyone but if I were to buy again I would look for some with stronger looking clips on the ends of the tubes. Just my opinion. Lastly, I was going to get the bar they advertise with these but decided instead to pick up a one inch diameter wood dowel from Home Depot alone with some stainless carabiners and some 1/4" hemp cord. I wrapped the handle in the cordage and attached the carabiners to the end with small U-bolts and it works really good. I could have spent $29 or whatever for the fancy bar but I like this wood one and it reminds me of something Rocky would have used to train. lol ... show more
