Well, if you are undergoing any kind of rehab for joint replacements or anything else, you know how your PT loves to incorporate resistance. This includes 5 levels of resistance so you are absolutely covered from the start of your journey to the end. These are perfect for home use so you don't need to worry about who has used them before you or how many dusty corners they've been kicking around. This set includes multiple resistance bands coded in colors with the estimated weight equivalent. I like that they are wide - I’ve been able to tie them to make a loop or use them by holding onto each end for various exercises. I’m new to resistance bands so I’ve been looking at online sources for various exercises and these have worked perfectly. The set comes with a helpful illustrated guide to various exercises which is nice but I found watching these kinds of exercises demonstrated online the most helpful. I’m a longtime lap swimmer who practices yoga to preserve/enhance my range of motion. I’ve found that modifying some familiar yoga poses with resistance bands really adds intensity. Strength training is definitely recommended now to preserve mobility and I’m thinking adding resistance bands to my workouts will allow me to achieve more at home. I’m already at the gym most days to swim so it’s great to be able to get an effective strength/mobility focused workout at home. I found the two ‘heaviest’ bands were the most effective- but beginners to exercise or those in recovery from injury may find the lighter bands best- it’s nice this set has a good range of options! ... show more
