Super hard rubber compared to the original. But I was in a bind the thing was not working so I sanded the flaws off these and tried to install them but they didn’t give at all. I ended up microwaveing them for a minute or two to get them soft enough to install. Luckily the machine was like new with these. Hindsight the top roller is better to be hard to force down on the bottom roller. Not a fun job but was totally worth it.

I seriously doubted these when I received them because they're hard plastic. But I installed them and I was pleasantly surprised. I bought my cricut joy second hand and it only took a couple uses for my rubber rollers to get loose and get misaligned. I followed a YouTube tutorial (this project is VERY involved, be warned) and I soaked these rollers in boiled water for 5-10 minutes. Once heated and dried off, I put them onto the rolling bar and reassembled the machine. 20 uses later and they're still golden! You're probably going to need needle-nosed pliers for this job and some plastic tabs may break off when removing the cricut plastic covering, just FYI. I would absolutely but these rubber rollers again. Doing this myself saved me $100!

Literally the perfect fit. As you all know the cricut joy original rollers burn out after like a year or two. I made a DIY version out of tubing from an auto shop but lasted like 4 months and then I tried tape a big nope I finally gave in to this 😅 and yes they work flawlessly. Spouse wanted to buy me a whole new cricut for x-mas but I ordered this in protest and for 5 bucks you can fix a $125 machine. They were hard to put on so if your an older person or (how do you say as nice as possible) maybe a weaker person then I highly suggest you get help sliding these on. The clips are necessary to prevent roller movements and make them nice and tight at first I thought the clips were for the rods. But I realized these clips are for the rollers them selves after how loose they felt . The clips are even harder to put on I suggest needle nose pliers. But afterwards wow just like new. Highly recommend. They come in pairs of two although I'm concerned for replacing these when they wear out in another year like how am I supposed to get the clips off and reuse them? Idk I guess that's a job for future me. But the rollers are solid and harder then most competitors even the originals making these perfect for durability and don't worry about the little nub that everyone is taking pictures of saying these are defective. If anything take a razor and slightly skimp off the nub I barely had to cut it off just let the razor do the work. No sandpaper no microwave cause you will soften them up to much. If anything the nub wasn't an issue at all being as the cricut joy itself has abrasive wheels they rub against and it will just wear them off anyways but I took a razor to mine and just kinda gave it a haircut. If your crafty you will know how to do it with ease . Tip for pressing the rollers on is slip one end on the rod and press down as far as you can then take them off and reverse the sides and then press on the other side making sure to stretch both sides then stand up rod against a table and hard table or a armchair and while rod is pressed against the hard surface just put hands on roller itself and push down as hard as you can

My rollers were burnt out on my Cricut Joy. I thought l was gonna have to throw my machine in the trash after only a few uses. I went online to Amazon and found universal replacement rollers that would fit my machine. I ordered them to see if the rollers would work and so happens they work perfectly fine. The only thing is when you have to replace your rollers, the c-clamps that holds the springs together happens to jump off and they are very small and hard to find. Other then that everything went well.
