Remote was easy to pair with my new 65" Samsung Crystal UHD DU7200 OLED Smart 4k tv, it paired quickly by holding down the back button + PLAY button simultaneously, for 3 seconds, and it also works well as a multifunction remote for Amazon Firestick, as it has the Voice Input button, and is compatible with Amazon Firestick. It has its own volume button and channel buttons, which, once paired with tv, will function as the tv remote as well as firestick remote. The range for remote is great, up to 40 ft away, you can be in another room and lower ir raise volume, so there is no direct line of sight which infrared remotes require. A 5 star rating, for design, function, usage, compatibility, sleekness, and value for the money!

i am sure you have asked this question time and time again....Have you seen the remote? How is it possible that the remote for your Roku TV has once again vanished into thin air? If you have kids...they answer I think i saw it on the couch last. You turn over every pillow, search in between the cracks of the couch...but with no luck the remote is not there. You eventually budge and that is where you find yourself on Amazon purchasing this wonderful replacement remote. Ours worked with our TCL Roku TV. Now the story goes...Once you purchase the replacement remote...a few days later the remote that was missing will turn up magically. SURPRISE! Now for the replacement remote. I have no idea, but this remote is the toughest remote i have ever seen and somehow it continues working. With kids the remotes are always getting dropped. chipped, batteries fall out, tapped to hold the batteries in...it still keeps working! This remote is indestructible and will stand the test of time....as long as you can find it..If not here you are again...purchasing this Roku TV replacement remote.

The functionality of the remote had a delayed response. Hitting the volume button up had a lag of a few seconds and then it would catch up all at once. Tried brand new batteries and it was not the batteries causing the issue. Remote was very light and felt kind of cheap compared to other brands. I have now purchased a total of 3 different brands of Roku remotes on Amazon and this one, although looked better than some other brands, did no do its primary job well at least the one I received. It is possible that I did just receive a defective remote or that the control board got damage due to poor packaging. I did not try a replacement of the same brand. I ended up buying a 2 pack of another brand on Amazon and they work exactly as they should and have the usual weight that I am use to.
