Yeah this one is a total no go for Roku TV users at least. It looks nice and feels good. However the buttons are all kind of whack. For example, the volume up button decreases the volume. I've yet to figure out what if any button will actually increase the volume. Also it doesn't work with the Roku out of the box (which is fair and not counting anything off for that) but the instructions are a bit confusing on how to pair it up for a Roku. It says that it'll work with any Roku TV and while technically correct, lets just say that this is not how you want your remote to function.

I have a Roku TV and needed a replacement remote. This remote said it is compatiable with RoKu so I jumped on it. I followed the directions and it indeed linked with my T.V. Now, lets dive into the pros and cons. First the Pros: 1. It turns the tv on and off. 2. The navigation buttons work with a slight delay 3. The jump buttons opens the apps (Netflix, Prime, Youtube, etc) 4. The home button goes to home Now to the cons. Before I did this review, I went above and beyond to make the cons into pros. I changed batteries, turned tv off and on again, reprogrammed remote, etc. and well, they are still cons (and the reason for the 3 stars): 1. Volume button is strange. The down button mutes and the up volume turns it down! I did it over and over and over again and same results. 2. The channel button does not work at all, neither up or down. 3. Option, Setttings and Menu buttons doesn't work at all. To be fair, my RoKu is just a plain Roku. Nothing fancy about it. So this remote may be intended for a more high end TV. Not sure of its performance on HiSense varieties or Google varieties. I washed the original remote by mistake and so i downloaded a Roku remote to my phone and it works but I was tired to having to disrupt what I'm doing on my phone or even find my phone in order to change the tv. That being said, I will keep and use this remote as I can do some things until I find another replacement.

Almost works fully on my tv. I have a 55" TCL Roku TV and setup with this remote was easy. Almost all the buttons work as specified by the remote with a few exceptions. Unfortunately, the volume buttons don't work properly. The (+) volume makes the tv volume decrease, and the (-) volume brings up the scroll bar to FF or RW on the screen. I use this remote control along with my phone Roku app to get the job done for now.
