I lost my original remote and ordered this one to replace it. I think I like this better than the one that came with the TV. There are more features to play with and its easy to maneuver. I love the feature that has the pointer because all you have to do is is point towards the television. The volume buttom works perfect, as well as the battery life for the remote is very decent. There is no lagging from the time you press the button to the remote actually working. I do recommend.

I ordered this as a replacement for the remote that came with the TV due to some damage to remote by my dog. It paired quickly with the TV and has been able to utilize every feature of the remote, including voice and motion functionality. The remote appears identical to the default remote and gets the job done. As I am a pickier customer, I do have a few gripes. One comes from the motion tech in the remote - the cursor typically will follow your point, but will also often drift while you are not moving at all. When the remote chooses to drift, the motion functionality becomes worthless as it becomes a battle to get the pointer over your selection. Another gripe is that the buttons do not seem to have the same responsiveness as the default remote. The original remote will turn the volume up until you let go of the volume up button, but the replacement remote will only turn up 3-5 notches at a time before it stops recognizing the volume up input. Overall a fine replacement if you need a spare for whatever reason, but ultimately makes my TV feel less premium due to poor remote performance.

I give the supplier high marks. Order was shipped and arrived early and in brand new condition. I was slightly disappointed in the item itself. The controller has an annoying design flaw and I purchased this item hoping a new one would fix the problem. This controller has a cursor that is activated on the TV screen by shaking the controller. The annoying problem is the user should be able to direct the cursor by pointing the controller at the TV screen. However, the projector for the cursor is uncontrollable. Sometimes you have to point the controller at the floor instead of the TV to direct its movements. Sometimes point the controller off to the side of the TV, or at the lower corner of the TV, anywhere but at the cursor. This creates a frustrating amount of extra effort and missed characters when using the cursor. This is LG's design flaw and that is why 4 instead of 5 stars.
