Description

Give your dog crate a fresh start with the MidWest Homes for Pets 54-Inch Replacement Pan. Built to fit most standard 54-inch wire crates regardless of brand or manufacturer, this dog crate tray makes it easy to refresh your existing setup without buying a whole new crate. Compatible with most 54" dog crates with straight or curved slide-bolt latches, it's the perfect upgrade for the crate you already own - just measure the interior base (length and width) of your current crate to ensure the right fit. Injection molding creates a stronger, more durable tray than other standard options, standing up to whatever daily life throws your way. The high-wall design and leak-proof construction contain accidents and spills, while the odor-resistant polypropylene plastic resists smells and stains. The slide-out design makes cleanup simple - just remove, rinse, and slide back in. More than just a tray for dog crates, use as a pet food mat to contain messy eaters, under litter boxes to prevent tracking, or as a shoe mat in your mudroom. At MidWest Homes for Pets, we know your dog is family. That's why every dog crate tray is backed by a 1-Year Manufacturer's Warranty and supported by our Indiana-based customer care team, making MidWest a trusted choice for creating a secure, comfortable home for your dog.

An Easier Way To Clean The Bird Cage
Size: 24 Inch (LS) Pattern Name: Crate Pan
Alas! An easier way to clean the bird cage! Primarily, we wanted something to catch the liquid that he regurgitates. This messy habit was ruining the metal floor of his cage. However, there are many considerations when dealing with a curious bird. You can’t just put anything absorbent down there, or he’ll pull it up and shred it. Hmm? There’s got to be some sort of shallow liner that could sit in the metal cage tray and catch whatever. Google is our friend. We found this tray and it was exactly what we were thinking of. Plastic won't absorb or rust; the shallow edges will contain liquid; the whole bird cage mess is easy to lift up and dump; plus, normal bird cage messes that always had to be scraped off the metal can just be washed off the plastic. Really the biggest decision was size. A large tray would have covered almost the entire metal tray, but that’s too big. The small tray would have covered just his favorite regurgitation corner, but what if he suddenly decided to expand the zone? So we ultimately picked a medium sized tray and it’s been great. He can’t lift it up through the cage bottom like he did paper and cardboard. The pan just sits in the lower tray and catches stuff like it’s supposed to. In the end, it’s still being used as a pet pan, just not in a four-legged way. We wanted to share this unconventional use as an idea for other bird families. ... show more

Great for indoor potty
Size: 42 Inch Pattern Name: Crate Pan
I live in an area where the weather gets really bad sometimes and I have this in my home in a convenient location with the artificial grass has just worked perfect. My dog is small only 6 pounds but but they still need room to like turn around until they find the spot they like it’s perfect and a really good price. So even if your dog is small, they need room to go potty. ... show more

Great quality
Size: 42 Inch Pattern Name: Crate Pan
I ordered this crate pan to replace the one that my dogs destroyed when they were puppies. I was very impressed with the quality when it arrived. It appears to be much more rugged than the pan that came with the crate. I had been using the crate without the pan, just giving them blankies, but they finally stopped destroying everything so I decided it was time for a new pan. Great quality for the price. ... show more

Works as a chest freezer tray
Size: 48 Inch Pattern Name: Crate Pan
We are using this under a 38" x 23" chest freezer, it does the job. The plastic is different than in years past; the surface texture has changed to something that seems less conducive to preventing slipping and the plastic seems thinner, hence only four stars. We'll see how long it lasts but I already miss the old pans. ... show more

Unusual use, but perfect!
Size: 42 Inch Pattern Name: Crate Pan
After going through lots of ideas of how to protect my chickens nesting boxes from them making a mess on the top of them, this was the solution! My chickens are wierd and like to sleep there instead of their actual perches. This makes clean up a breeze! It's a really odd use, but if there are any chicken owners looking for a relatively cheap litter tray, that also comes in many sizes, this is the way to go! ... show more

Perfect for my use…
Size: 36 Inch Pattern Name: Crate Pan
I purchased this item to construct a bird reflection pool for photography in my back yard. It is rigid, solid and well constructed. For this purpose, I rate it highly, not so sure about a cage liner for dogs…but, the raccoons seem to like to walk on it at night :) Highly recommend this item.

Better than what came with the cage!
Size: 42 Inch Pattern Name: Crate Pan
I have this brand cage in several sizes. Bought them in the early 2000s. The replacement trays are more durable. Very happy I bought them as my old ones cracked through some rugged dogs. The sizes were exactly as advertised for size. Time to adopt more dogs! Don't tell hubby! Lol

perfect
Size: 36 Inch Pattern Name: Crate Pan
This tray was exactly what I needed for my beagle's crate. The original tray had cracked along some of the wire lines of the crate's bottom surface, eventually splitting the tray. This replacement tray is exactly the right size, and I was able to place it on top of the cracked tray, which will hopefully prevent the two issues with the first from recurring: cracking and sliding out through the narrow gap at the lower edge of the crate. Love it! ... show more
