i have an old craftsman LT1000 and got tired of the seat springs always bottoming out and hurting my back. found these and the dimensions showed they were longer. about an inch longer. i gave them a try and i think they are going to work to make things stiffer, good find on Amazon!

    • A simple fix for a major issue
Bought these springs to replace the useless seat travel dampers on my Cub Cadet zero turn. Took 10 minutes to remove the dampers and bolt these in. If you have one of the mowers with the dampers this is the fix.

    • I had to add large washer to mount to maxhine.
Works fine. Old spring had washer wielded to spring for mounting. This one didn't. But with large washer it works fine.

They pop right in place of the factory seat bumpers. I’ll keep these spring on there, much better ride.
