We bought this remote because, let’s be honest, the remotes that come with Samsung TVs are just plain awful. We were pressing the buttons so hard it felt like we were giving ourselves arthritis! This remote is such a game-changer—it’s super easy to use, has a simple button layout, and is lightweight enough to carry around from room to room without a hassle. The only downside is that the voice control feature doesn’t work with our TV, but that’s just because our TV is about six years old. Other than that, it works flawlessly. It synced immediately right out of the box—no setup needed. The range is fantastic, and it’s probably the most responsive remote we have in the house. It’s also built to last. I’ve had this for about a month. It works well and no set up was required. This remote seems to be sturdier made than the solar remote that came with our tv and pops apart all the time.

1/5....My dog chewed the original remote, so we bought this one to replace it, this remote sucks! Buttons don't work, you literally have to press the remote buttons with a lot of force for them to work, on the original remote and light push would work, yeah I know it's just a remote and I'm sitting my butt on the couch to be complaining, but man, after a long day all you want to do is relax, but this adds more stress/frustration to my day, godd*m this remote sucks

It is very slippery and when it drops it explodes, the cover goes one way the batteries another. This would really benefit from a rubber/ silicon finish. Other than this it does wat it is supposed to do.

As a dedicated Samsung TV owner with two 55-inch or larger models, I recently found myself in need of a new remote. After some research, I discovered vivcase, a company offering an alternative to the pricey OEM remotes that typically cost around $65. I decided to give their remote a try, and I was immediately impressed. The remote had a satisfying, clicky feel to it, which I much prefer to mushy buttons that leave you unsure if you've actually pressed them. It worked perfectly with my TVs, and I was pleased to find that in IR (InfraRed) mode, it could control every TV in the house. Of course, for voice control, you need to pair the remote via Bluetooth to a specific TV, as only one remote can be Bluetooth-paired per television. About a month after purchase, I experienced a minor issue with one of the buttons. I contacted customer service, and they promptly sent out a replacement remote. During the follow-up, I was able to assist them with some technical matters, drawing on my experience as a veteran in the hardware industry. Impressed by the product and service, I decided to buy two more remotes. This decision has been a game-changer. Now, I can walk into any room and control the TV without the frustration of searching for a lost remote. No more digging between couch cushions or checking the other side of the room – I always have a remote within reach. The convenience of having multiple remotes cannot be overstated. There are countless scenarios where an extra remote comes in handy, and I highly recommend getting at least two, if not three like I did. This product deserves five stars, as does the customer service. Companies like vivcase, offering great products backed by excellent support, are the ones that often catch the eye of larger corporations for potential acquisition. They're not just competition; they excel in a specific aspect of product manufacturing – in this case, remote controls. For Samsung TV owners, these remotes are an essential backup to the one that comes in the box. Spread a few around your home, and you'll never have to worry about remote control issues again.
